Well, yes, you can examine an item in your overflow slot.  However, I just did that to a plain white moth, which I needed for my plain moth collection (already had a tan one).  The dialog for adding it to my collection came up, but the "Add to my plain moth collection" choice did nothing.  I moved the moth to a main inventory slot and was able to add it to my collection just fine.

not sure if they plan on alowing us to examine and put away in the quest sack w/o moving to Inv.  To think what they did is gave us a choice of now just letting it go w/o actually picking it up so that if we dont need it we dont need to destroy something else to free up a spot to destroy that item too..  So again if your gunna keep the item, I think its workin right YOU should have to actually pick it up and place in INV that way it was actually on you.. Otherwise your looking for an additional Slot for us to store items..  This is not supposed to be that.. Think of this Item as on the groud around you.. You need to make space to pick it up..

just my 2c..

I have to thank the devs for this thou.. Hated destroyin stuff just to destroy something i just dug up that i dont want..

Again Thanks Devs..
