Those pictures are astounding!  Very nice work.  My favorite one is "Tunare's Alcove"!   It's so ghostly and the lighting is just perfect.
Thanks for posting these!

Very nicely done.

I do have a couple of questions, one of which is very vague.  How?  I couldn't draw a stick, and I understand there has to be talent, but I am curious about what program and if you use a mouse to draw these, or a pad.

Second question, where did you come up with the idea for the horse?  I seen a similar design in another thread.

First of all, I can't draw a stick either SMILEY  I am a terrible artist, though I am learning a little bit more here and there.  I did draw the hair on a couple of those images, as well as some of the effects.  The portrait of Pharteen has a lot of Photoshop postwork in it.  I use a combination of several programs.  I use Daz Studio, which a free 3d program (bear in mind, the program is free and a few of the models, but I have a small fortune invested in content).  But sometimes I can't get what I want from Daz Studio and use Poser 6 (almost all Poser and Daz models are interchangeable between the two programs).  I do all of my post work in Photoshop CS2.

I do it as a hobby.  I found a link to Daz one day and thought I'd give it a try and I was hooked.  It's a lot of fun.  The only things I can't do right now are Ratonga, Iksar and Kerra.  Iksar and Kerra is just a matter of purchasing similar models, but I've never been asked to make one, so I can't warrant the purchase.  And I have yet to see a good "rat man" model.  Thus, like I said, I am not an artist and would never be able to simply draw those characters.

Aside from programs, when I find I do need to draw something, I use a Wacom tablet.

EDIT: oops forgot about your question about the horse.  The horse is a popular model for poser and D|S, as well as the texture packs to give it different colors.  The armor the horse is wearing is also a popular model and some of the best horse armor I've seen for Poser or D|S.  So, that's probably why you've seen it on other threads.  It's very popular.  I love Akyashaa's images.  That's probably where you saw the horse.  I've seen several elements in her images that are models I also have.  It's just a matter of the time and ptience to manipulate them into what you want.  Like her, I am a stay-at-home wife...So, I have several hours everyday to play around with them.

Thank you SMILEY

Real life has intruded the past couple of months and I can't work on these as much as I'd like.  However, I do have a couple more in the works and will be posting them here when they are finished.

I recently downloaded Daz, and I came back to this game on the same day. I must say, these pictures have made me even more excited for what I can do with Daz as I learn more and more. Right now I only have very basic things like this.=] Very nice work.

That is a great start!  You can learn a lot of things by browsing the Daz Tutorials and the Renderosity turtorials.

In the meantime, I did find time to complete a couple more images, which I added to the beginning of this thread SMILEY
