Haha!  Interesting choice of music.  I like the feel of this movie.  The fast paced film and music make it very whimsical and fun.  Great job!

Heh, thats funny. When I 1st saw this video it looked like to me the guy in the hat was [Removed for Content] the high elf at bars and places around the world.  Then I realized at the end that it was a contest to see who could get the most dates? :smileyindifferent:

Good video anyways.

hahaha funny video, great!  I particularly like the ending where they both end up with no dates despite all their efforts... I was expecting him to ask her out on a date as theyre walking up the stairs at the end!

One thing though... Nekkid Erudite.. I am traumatised for life now!!!

I just love this video.  I've watched it so many times that now when the music starts Kreep says, "Are you watching that video AGAIN?".

So yeah, obviously Vaynglory is my woman (and actually, she's the one in my chase video). Also, she left something out. After I say "again??" I get up off the couch to watch it with her SMILEY  Makes ya feel goooood.

The question on my mind is simple.  How the heck did you make yourself "breakdance".  That was cool, but I can't figure out what emotes you were using.

When you use a 2-hand staff and someone attacks you... if you successfully dodge an attack, you do this ninja-esque move where you lean back, kick a leg up, and put your opposite hand to the ground.

Wow!  Great job getting in sync with the music!  Disable your target ring!  My favorite part was when the Koad'al was flirting with the Master of the village in Isle of Mara.  :smileyvery-happy:

Okay. Maybe it's my limited video experience but I've been looking at movies and TV shows differently lately and I'm seeing things I didn't used to notice.

I watched this video again this morning and had even more appreciation for it, so I wanted to mention a few things about it, since I didn't give it a proper review the first time...

1. Pacing. There are 2 ways (that I know of) to look at pacing: generally and specifically. When you do create a scene, there's a certain pace within the scene that's appropriate to the content in that small part. Also, there's the pacing of the video as a whole and that's harder to maintain, unless you take a step back and look at the whole project OR if you respect your music. When you let the music help you pace the entire project, the music itself spreads out the content.

The pacing of this video is excellent. I'd say the whole thing is "economical" because you pack a lot of content and shots into a short song. But even tho you jam a lot in, it doesn't have a cluttered feel because the AMOUNT of content you use, as well as the pacing of its delivery, is appropriate for the song and its themes.

2. Cinematography (camera work). Good camera work isn't just about using Adobe's or Magix's or Vegas's features like Transitions and SFX. Real quality camera work comes from a strong vision that is realized by creative ingenuity. Sometimes that means using techniques that seem obvious but that a lot of people miss when shooting their footage. Things like camera position, motion, distance, framing, backgrounds, and lighting. Creatively and passionately manipulating those variables can produce an absolutely amazing video and you can do that WITHOUT fancy software features. And if everything complements each other, like if the camera work and colors and camera angles match the spirit of the music and themes, then the result is brilliant and lasting.

So anyway, in that regard I think this video is excellent. It is fast and ambitious. We love the shot with the wizard dancing on a hill, but he's not at close range. He's perfectly framed in the shot (by the screen limits AND by his surroundings) and shot from a low-ish angle. But that's just one shooting technique. Mixing up the variables makes for a more interesting viewing. Details like emoting while walking up steps with someone to make it look like you're talking at the same time... that helps. SMILEY

3. Content choice. Is what you're doing interesting to you? If it's not and you just THINK it's a good idea but you're not excited about it, then that extra little something won't come through in your video. I think the best videos are the ones where the director's passion for the project is evident. A good song, an interesting character or theme, a gorgeous location: these are important things to be excited about.

I think this video has a very fun song. The idea of competing for dates is a creative idea that we don't see much of. The characters are light and enjoying themselves. The spirit of the characters is brought out effectively by the direction...

Anyway, this is good stuff. And I intend to use these lessons in my future videos...
