![]() Enhanced Cheap Shot (0/5) Improves reuse speed by 0.5 seconds
This AA isn’t bad at all, and will help with soloing a lot. Although, this has no effect on epic mobs and doesn’t help with raiding. This fits in good as a first tier AA though. __________________________________________________ ___________________ Enhanced: Sprint (0/5) Reduces power cost by 5% Increases sprint movement speed by 5%
So if we were to max it out, we would have 25% more movement speed with sprint which would be 10% extra moving it to 50%.... Ok let’s face it this is pretty useless… I can get a mount that has 48% run speed… and we have a snare and a root… we don’t need to be able to run away from mobs faster… I want ways to stand up and fight them not run away.
I see what you are trying to do with the murdering line… but sprint is something everyone gets and not assassin specific… if really want a yellow buff to fill its spot heck give me improved distance on my tracking so I can see whole zone or something…. Or faster reuse time on evac… or improved speed to pathfinding… or better yet find a way to get our offensive stance involved in this line for some sort of improvement to it… like to the damage the proc does or something.

This ability is already our fasted recast at 10 seconds with a duration of 12 seconds on the dot. If we were to get 5 ranks of this it would reduce the reuse time by 4 seconds making this a 6 second recast. Yet the duration is 12 seconds….. I will later get into the duration reductions as a whole later in my post… but I think that this ability is just fine as is and another CA should take its place in this position. __________________________________________________ _____________________ Enhanced: Enmesh (0/5) Increases poison resist reduction by 3%
This one sounds like it would be effective… 5 ranks would put it at 15 percent and for a first tier AA this sounds good.

Currently stands a 1 minute reuse time… personally I am fine with this. I don’t like this whole idea of improving reuse times one bit and I will explain later in my post. __________________________________________________ ____________________ Enhanced: Constriction (0/5) Improves reuse speed by 1 second
Totally useless…. This CA is a debuff and has a 36 second duration and a 20 second recast… So why would we want to lower the duration? Don’t tell me it’s so we can cast it on another mob in a group encounter, because if a mob is going down faster then 20 seconds… then they most likely don’t need to be debuffed. I would rather see the percent increase to the debuff like some of the other AA __________________________________________________ _____________________ Enhanced: Honed Reflexes (0/5) Improves reuse speed by 8 seconds

What is the point of reducing the duration if the recast is still longer then the original duration? None would be the correct answer here… If you want to do anything… how bout we add to the duration adding an extra ticks or we could improve the damage it does per tick by a percentage… again I don’t see any point in the reduction of the duration. Can we please replace this with the DD poison and be able to add 3 percent extra damage per AA point we spend instead? I don’t like using a poison that if I proc 2 times in a row it is basically a worthless proc. __________________________________________________ ______________________ Enhanced: Ignorant Bliss Poison 0/5 Increases hate reduction by 3%
I like this one… although we assassins have many ways to drop agro and what not… a little more hate reduction is never a bad thing

Third Tier

This one isn’t to bad cause I don’t time freezing strike with anything else really… and having the root up faster is always nice. __________________________________________________ _____________________ Enhance: Crippling Strike Improves reuse speed by 1 second
I like to use my crippling strike to go along with my big stealth attacks… therefore I don’t use this as soon as it pops all the time, therefore this is kind of useless… would rather see a % increase to the Debuff or increased damage

Well don’t see the point really… again I argue against this in my Feedback section… Would much rather see a way to increase the %damage on initial hit or per tick while keeping duration the same instead

I am not sure this is a problem that needs to be addressed… would rather see increase to Damage done per proc or instead allow us to increase the amount of triggers

Again with the improved reuse… Not sure if I am excited to see in improvement to mastery strikes here…Could we maybe replace this with something else?

This will be useful and looks good

The duration is not a problem witht his ability… if you want to be cheap about it then give me a faster casting time or reuse time… But again if you really want to make this look nice and fun add a percent increase to damage, as that is what is really needed for the assassin AA’s __________________________________________________ _____________________ Enhance: Apply Poison Increases trigger chance by 1%
Ok nice… but it doesn’t affect my damage personally so don’t think I will be getting this AA… Only thing I personally look for to improve my assassin are ways to improve his Damage or decrease his agro while doing so…. Would be nice to replace this with murderous design

Enhance: Deft Defense Reduces penalties by 20%
An assassin in defensive…. Say it isn’t so…. Kidding aside… I will whip out the defensive stance here and there when I am soloing… so I kind of like this one. Although, could we get an increase to our offensive stance somewhere in the new AA line? Considering we are in Offensive stance 99.9999% of the time. ================================================== ======== Sixth Tier
Silencing 0/1 On a successful melee attack this spell will cast silencing on target of attack. Lasts for 20 seconds. Reduces awareness of other encounters calling for help
Ok for the cost and the fact that this is a sixth tier AA…. All I can say is umm NO. This is useless. Body pulling for the win. It sounds cool when you first read it, but when you think about it, it has really no benefit at all to the class. If we are soloing we are not going to kill a named heroic in 20 seconds, meaning we will end up getting adds anyway. And why else would I want this?

This has potential….although I would like the random location part of it to change to the back of the mob like another class is getting. Our stealth attacks are all from behind… so would be nice if we could be behind the mob to use em… if I get teleported in front of a raid mob and take the frontal AE that is going to suck… or if I get teleported in front and have to run behind something and find the back this is going to hurt my DPS not help it…. So please tweak this one a bit otherwise it will be useless and not used.

This sounds really nice… I would like to try this one out for sure (hint hint beta buffing AA plz) Anyway, this AA sounds like it could be really nice. But I will need to see it in action and hope that this also affects epic mobs.
__________________________________________________ ____________________________________ Frontload 0/1 For a short duration all trigger percentages on all of the assassins abilities are doubled Duration 2 seconds.
Not enough info atm… although only being 2 seconds is kind of bad… I would think at least 5 seconds if its what I think it is… and 10 seconds would be ideal.

![]() Well, one benefit to getting the recast timers lowered by 1 sec. for CA's such as Jugular and Crippling Strike is that they would then be affected by Exacting. At least that's what I'm interpreting "Improves reuse speed by 1 second" to mean. Dunno what use it is if that's not the case.

![]() that isn't the case at least i don't think so. the ring of four winds lowers all jugular / eviscerate below 1 minute and they aren't affected by exacting. |

nope its not. Exacting works only with abilities with a "natural" recast of under 1min.
