I like how you only modeled the graphic on a human.

It doesnt look that bad.  But in all honesty, how were they really going to make it fit around the face of a Ratonga without it jutting out like that.  That's just the way the race was built.  A rat has a snout =.  Kinda hard to get around that with a face mask.

I wonder how this looks on a Kerra or an Iksar.

Or... they just modeled it on a human and said, "Hey, looks good!"

Not sure how you would really improve it on a Ratonga though, man.  With the snout you're bound to deform anything that is put over your face.  It looks like it fits over your face to me, it just jutts out really far and kinda looks goofy because of it.

You know... they prolly designed it so that it drops straight from the end of the nose which makes it look longer.  In the case of a ratonga it would blunt and enlarge the end of your face.

Well... maybe when they see this they'll think about making some changes.  Best thing I could say to do is do a /bug report, then head to one of the other forums sections and post about what the issue is, using the pics that you've posted here.

Sorry chief...

Ratonga gets no loves ....

Thank the gods we can prevent this from showing...guess if I don't want to look silly when I show the hood I can always change into my High Elf Illusion.

It does look like a feedbag that they put on horses etc.  Maybe they have cheese in the hat.

If you are a dark elf with dark grey skin, you don't get a mask, you simply  lose your mouth and nose.

And there is a graphic bug when the toon looks up-right or up-left. Notice that a chunk of the mask is displayed above the cowl, instead of inside it (as it should be).

I seriously don't understand what some people expect. You play a ratonga, you are an animal like being, you do not have a normal humanoid structure. Its meant to cover your mouth and nose, and thats what it is doing. Quit the senseless whining when common sense should usually alert you to these things.

Not quite as bad on an Iksar. I'll post a a screenshot when I get home if noone beats me to it. My one complaint is that the face mask doesn't connect to the chest piece - so we have hood, eyes showing, mask covering nose and mouth, then exposed chest before chest piece. With the old Iksar scale pattern of the yellow chest it looks a bit odd. But nowhere near as bad as on a Ratonga. I shudder tho think what it would look like on a Froglok Assassin.

Sark on behalf of Slaene.

Go buy a "Shave and a Cut" from the barber in West Freeport, near the stables, and adjust your facial features to make your snout shorter and thinner, if you wish, It will help somewhat for the time being, and only costs you 1g.
