A few noobie assassin questions

I've never played an assassin before and actually i'm just starting EQ2 up again for the first time in a few months, so I really have no idea how to play an assassin.

 

1.)  What is my role in PvP other than tracking?  With my low HP I assume I just track and then assist the tanks and such.

 

2.)  Speaking of tracking, i'm a lvl 11 at this point and I notice when I examine my tracking skill set, it's still a level one and the range kinda sucks on it.  When/how does this increase, in both level and range?

 

That's all I can think of right this minute.  Any response would be appriciated.

1) Your role in groups is to be assist and assist the tank. Soloing as assassin in PvP is great.. you  just gotta find your tactic. 2) Tracking wont ever increase.
