So I was grouping the other day and there was a brigand using his group stealth. Cool, it got our group deeper in without having to carve our way into the dungeon. Problem was that if I was in stealth (Slip Away) and he then used his group stealth, when the group stealth was taken off by the tank pulling, it looked like I was still in stealth (Slip Away) but I couldn't use any stealth abilities until I cancelled it and then restealthed. I'm assuming this is a bug. Anyone else have this happen? I don't mind it cancelling my stealth when the group stealth was cancelled but it still shows me as stealthed on screen and I kept trying like a fool to use my abilities. My group was like, why are you just standing there... Minor annoyance but should be fixed.

Yep noticed this today... was in stealth via Slip Away and the Brigand in the group used group stealth....  Even though the group stealth was broke due to combat, I still could not use my stealth attack even though I remained in stealth....

Yup, I've had may problems with stealth in the last couple of weeks, very use to seeing the message "you must be in stealth to use that art" while in stealth.

All I have been able to do is cancel stealth, reapply, then go in for the hit.

Aye, for those that live for the complexity of an assassin this might be ok, but not for me.

you can't attack from slip away, it's an out of combat stealth. i've only ever been able to attack from hunt. i'm not sure what you saw has anything to do with the brigand ability. if you have a brigand friend, try using hunt first and see what happens.

I can attack from slip away and have been doin so for some time now.

You might wanna check it out again.:smileywink:

And from what i've seen the problem is with both hunt and slip away and comes into play when any additional stealth is applied on top of the stealth type you are currently in.

have had this problem for a while, a long time..  I think there is some effect that if anyone casts another sort of invis you are taken out of "Stealth" mode and placed into invis/sneak mode.  this is the same I have seen from all forms of Group invis or if someone mistakenly invis's you not realizing you can do it on your own.  Not sure when I noticed this start but it was prior to Frost Fell update.  If I have a brig in group I just cancel all stealths until I need them.

Also, you can attack with Slip Away on, you just cannot cast it during combat.   It works like all other stealths/hunts's we have.  The no cast timer and low recast is the trade off for not being able to cast in combat.
