whats the deal? how do you use it to its maximum potential? cast it, then attack with spells that do piercing damage?

![]() Assassin's mark allowes the whole grp to get in on the dmg - its and offensive proc (process) for the grp with the base 1% to do extra dd and dot (massive dmg). Assassin's do not (right now) get credited with the extra dmg if another grp member trigers it, but on long fights or tough mobs its usualy the first thing I cast. Right now I want to get an Adept3 for it also. One of our best 'utility' skills. SO cast it and just do the same thing you would normaly do (stealth attacks). oh - and if you solo, cast this first and pray to the random number gods that you proc this skill - sick dmg! ![]() If you have some haste buffs, they'll help a good bit with the increased melee hits. Solo, it's not always going to work, but in a melee heavy group, it works wonderfully. However, I never fire it off at the beginning of a group fight, as I want to let the tank gain sufficient aggro in case I get credited with the AM. It can generate alot of aggro if it decides to fire off about the time you unleash some heavy hits.

Not limited to piercing damage. Any melee damage can trigger it, including bleeds :smileywink:
