![]() Some possibilities. 1) You're fighting harder mobs. Harder mobs = more resistances. 2) You haven't upgraded Ebon Blade from App 1, yet. 3) That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

![]() You don't get the full power of an ability that's orange and fresh to you. Your SB is probably upgraded and is mastered, your EB isn't. I went a good few levels before I relegated SB and started using EB, but then my SB was Ad3 so it was hitting fairly hard. I'd usually reckon on an ability being at least yellow before it surpasses the previous one in it's line for damage, with a few exceptions that contain big enough upgrades to do it immediately. Don't worry, it's perfectly normal. If you can get an upgrade for EB then grab it and it'll probably be enough to get you to the same damage and you can move on now, if not just check it next level and see if it's improved enough.

![]() Your shadowblade is doing its maximum damage as its white or less. Ebonblade is still ornage and much like equipment it takes time to "grow into it".Finally, Ebonblade has a debuff component on it which will raise ALL of your attack's dps as well as those of your group. |

I found that elaa's perforating slice a pretty good damage dealer, on par with adept 3 ebon blade. Guy I know hit for 1704 with it at level 42 with a serrated bone dirk. Maybe you should try that for a few levels and see how you like it.

Those are two totally differant skills, so you can't compare them. Elaa's slice is our 5 minute (or 225 seconds in this case) heavy backstab, while Ebon blade is just a one minute backstab. Anyway, just give it a few levels and Ebon blade will start doing more damage as you get more skill in it, also make sure you have it upgraded. |

![]() i have ebon blade (master1) i still use it at lvl 43 lol it hits for around 1000 some times if im lucky. but as far as shadow and ebon damage goes, give it a lvl . the damage will increase as your skills do. but the adept should be hitting the 300 range if shadow was in the 250 area at your lvl
