I am not sure if this has been talked about before.

I am pretty sure that atleast some of you might have tought about the idea i want to discuss on this post.

How to effieciently use arrows.

So my idea is to not use a quiver!!.

What i do is i get 2.8k tin arrows put em in my 28 slot box.

I also have about 1k makeshift arrows in my other 28 slot box. and i fill up the rest of it with Vender bought T7 arrows.

Then i drag the ammo slot, tin arrows, makeshift arrows, and T7 arrows to my hotbar.

If you micro manage it well  you can save your self lot of money.

Example;

I click tin arrows on hotbar so to pop them on the ammo slot.

Then i use all my spells.

then click t7 or makeshift arrows for autoattack.

then redo step one after CA recharge.

Ok some of you might say that it is better to autoattack between spells.

But you can switch arrows as you like. Even if continuous CAs are used for small amount of time in the long run it will save you money.

But if you micro really well then you can save even more money.

*Please feel free to provide your opinion on this idea*

That seems like a lot of work. What kind of dps are you putting out?

Meh.. I did that for the first 15-16 months of this toons life... no way am I going back to that...

FWIW, I have LESS downtime using a quiver.  That equals to more cash from killing.  So the minute amount of cash that you'd save by "micro managing" your arrows you can easily make up in killing some mobs and taking their loot.  Really that is the only reason I can think of why you'd want to do that... cash vs. dps.  I can concentrate on killing the mobs versus wondering if I have enough arrows.  The lower the tier of arrows that you use, the lower your dps is going to be on auto attack... something that rangers rely a lot on... especially at higher levels - even soloing.   Switching out arrows just doesn't make sense to me.  I did it for a long time and hated it.  YMMV, that's just my opinion.
