+N Ranged

Is there a cap on the Ranged skill? What items, besides a few of the bows and the hats actually have + Ranged modifiers and is it worth maxing out ranged over other stats?

HAH, knew that name sounded familiar. Whats up Dav... how's PvP life treating you and Manpoon?

Not sure about the skill cap, but the Nemesis gloves give +5 ranged, in addition to the hats and few bows that have a Ranged bonus.

Its really unknown.. People have reported little to no diffrence at 400 to an ability to 450, however there is a diffrence between 350 to 400 thats noticeable. (350 being the base at 70)

There's a lot of items with + to ranged.. Several bows, the claymore cutlass, ring of relkentinar.. Countless peices of armor that I can't remember...

I've always been around 400 because of our stance, i'd assume it does improve over 400 due to the fact that with our offensive stance we are already near 400..

I would ASSUME that the benefit to 400 is great, while after 400 still there but, not by as much...

thanks all...makes sense that the benefit from + ranged scales down as it rises on the curve

sup Jay, Nagafen is fun...trying to gear up a little more so that it's not so difficult to make those raiding guilds look like pincushions :smileytongue:

guildies talked me into it actually, but I enjoy the proffesion...as long as I have a tank taunting or can keep myself hidden PvP is a ton of fun with a ranger

i also love sneaking up on a group, picking out a cloth to 1-shot and then /laugh /evac :smileyvery-happy:
