![]() Post LU20 rangers are in a tough spot, we cant solo as effeciently, our group DPS was cut about 50%, and to top it off they stealth nerfed two of our three special post 50 spells (thorny trap and stream of arrows). Now as all of you know, we rangers are faced with the dreaded minimum range on all of our bow attacks. Which, when you look at it, makes a ton of sense, after all who can fire off a bow when someone is trying to beat them? However, what I suggest is to remove the minimum range from our arrow attacks when a mob is stunned, mezzed, or does no have aggro on the ranger. Also, with this give rangers one or two more stun abilities. Now before anyone turns down this idea please consider: This would finally allow us to use more of our ranged abilities while solo, and thus increasing how well it can be preformed. Did we need this update pre LU20? Nope, do we need it now? Yes. This most likely put us on par with bottom tier 1 to high tier 2 soloers, and well, I guess that is acceptable now. Finally for groups, this would finally allow rangers to be viable in dungeon crawling groups (yes they can still preform in these groups now, but adds often follow) and we would be able to remain in melee range while using ranged CAs. This our DPS would increase because constant moving and relocating would not be an issue and that time could be used for melee CAs. Now I know this will not put Rangers back into top Tier 1 (where they are supposed to be, if you do not believe me do a search for Blackguards tier map, rangers are clearly tier 1) but it is a step in the right direction. Your thoughts?
