I have heard from fellow rangers from guild and groupies that even they noticed a a substancial amount reduction in their DPS. They still manage to be in the T1 for their respective exp and raiding groups. However what they seem to love is that now their aggro building seems to be lowered as well allowing to to go all out without stealing the prey from the tanks. god, dont tell rangers theres nothing wrong with them.they will lynch you. because they all know they have less dps then a templar now.....according to them

"You have heard," eh? My, how convincing. My parsing tells me otherwise, and "I have heard" from many of my fellow rangers much the same. You may interpret it as "whining" and such, but the fact is that if rangers were broken before--and we were--we're just as broken now. Only now, we're not only broken, we're broken and less useful--and less fun. That's not a recipe for happy players, no matter the class.

And you would be who .. Zodian ... 31 guard from Splitpaw server ... in the guild radiance? that has 5 rangers in guild... lvls 61, 60, 50, 35,35 Which is saying still teir 1 .. it sure is not the lvl 60 or 61 ... maybe the other 3 who knows i will not go back and lvl another ranger to find out if we are ok at low lvls...but at lvl 61 .. going from 750 / 1100 dps ... to 200 / 300 dps... is still teir 1? what planet you living on... oh well wish you the best ... be good and take care.. Try reading the posts there - not everyone is experiencing the DPS change that Theorbell is talking about. I don't doubt that she and some other people saw the change, Sony may have made changes to specific servers to see what the changes would do. But I know from my experiences the past two nights that there has been no improvement to my DPS and a few others have posted the same thing that I did.

Bro ... please .. please ... did you read all that thread that you link? ,,, and bro .. I and others Live the nerf both in beta and live every day .... it is as bad as we say ... i am serious... 180 to 320 is my dps ranger on majority of 62^^^ to 66^^^ fights in a group encounters... i am out classed by all other scouts now ... and just above the plate tanks .... most fights ... can i get a 550 dps or hire off every 15 mins or so sure .. if sniper is up and does not miss... but that is not a exp grinding CA .. that is a named CA or desperation CA for tryin to pull your butt out of the fire... Bro go look at my char if you like .. i play on unrest .. name Karvar... he is not the Best of the best ... but he is a damm nice ranger... with nice stuff... i got no complaints with how i built my char or what he has ... but i do when i spend 1.3 years building him and then carpet is yanked out from under him...and it like a declawed kitty that has tooth decay ... (yes I am a kitty ranger) oh well ... if you do not agree with me .. that is cool... cause i sure do not agree with you.. be good Karvar 61 ranger unrest

Well all i can tell you as far as dps tier1 is that according to last night , we went in vault of ela'rad or whatever the name is ) Btw , really awesome zone , we got up to thirs floor but was like 4am rofl Anyway, back to dps, i can tell you that the only time i was dpsing the wizard in my group was when i had sniper shot up, else he would outdps me about 95% of the time, and i was going all every fight, ending oop every couple fights hehe

I'll help ya out Coyote, cos you seem to be heading the same direction as the OP.Its trollish because its based on "my friend said" and "oh look at the one post in this one thread"none of it is based on DATA... on hard, parsed data of what is actually happening.If you wanna dig up, or ask around and find, any hard parsed data of Rangers being right up there with Wizards/Warlocks and Assassins in groups now, then please, do so.Making suppositions and commenting without having anything to back it up is trolling.

Heh... so Player_A reads a forum post or hears a comment from a friend about the ranger situation. Player_A comes here and posts that "information," expecting to illuminate the situation for those folks who have direct experience playing rangers on a regular basis. We appreciate the assistance, but any class is going to rely more on those with firsthand experience than hearsay gathered from other forum posts or random conversations. If you have something useful to offer, great, thanks, we need all the help we can get. If you're here to mock, troll, whine about whining, or just be generally unpleasant....well, don't be surprised when ppl are unpleasant right back. And FWIW, having any kind of concern about the results of the LU20 changes doesn't constitute "whining."

utter s.h.i.t i have gone from being the top DPS in the T6 raids to being out DPS'ed by a [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ing fury on more occasions during our XP grinds.

Yep, there is some truth in it when grouped. And if you have the right group setup. But remember warlocks and wizards are not depending on the group setup as much as rangers do. We did court already day or two ago, and I still parsed first in the dps parses, but I had to be in a very specific group to be able to. Basicly I had to work my [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] off to be able. I slapped the dirge 10times for not calling out his procs and almost killed the inq for not putting zealotery up For soloing I can assure you rangers got the huge nerf bat. We need to be ranged to do dps and right now our stuns and snares are pretty worthless. Ah well I group alot so I can't complain too much.

The only thing that i think made me do more then assassins is that there was a joust and I could spam my bow attacks when I was out of range for the AE's. Now that's for group and raids.
