I've read through the various threads on the forums, seen tons of numbers and formulae, calculations and sheer guesswork.  I did however, run into one or two coherent statements that actually put out plain bald numbers.  My question is this: Is the 50% reduction in dps (post nerf) accurate? (I'm seeing posts varying 45-70%).  If it is indeed accurate, doesn't this place us in approximately T2 DPS?  (Not looking for flames, troll, etc...just some information to work with.)  Thanks in advance.Edited: still learning to spell :smileytongue:

It's more than accurate, i'd guess it's actually worse.

Some Data, I don't have access to my Charts since I'm at work but here is how it looks on Beta.

I parsed 500, Level 61 Green Heroic ^^^ Bixies, on Bixie Island in TT.

Ranger was Level 70 with t6 Raid Gear (Round Shield of Striking, etc), T7 Legendary Bow (Grizzlefazles, 89DR, 20str, 5% proc for 400 Heat Damage), ALL tier 6 and 7 Master 1 Spells. 50 AA's devoted into maximizing DPS (+str, - Reuse Casting, + Crits, etc), Using Adeste's Distruption.

Don't Forget I get Critical hits also, and had Maxed my +crit AA

On Average with Max Burn of all Ranged I was avergeing 550-650 DPS, with Spikes as High as 700. There were some Higher hits and lower ones, but those were anomolies since I had Big Hits up.

This was at 400Strength Self Buffed with a Tank there to hold aggro while I unloaded.

I also ran out of power for the 1st time in 6 months (Which is ok, IMHO as long as we maintain the high DPS).

To put it into perspective, a Tier 6 Wizard does 700-800DPS on Average.

T7 Full Mastered Ranger with Full AA's = T6 Wizard Full Mastered with No AA's and No Critical hits.

You be the judge.

here is a small sampling from a post I made last night...it's about halfway down the page.  A character copy from Live to beta, so everything is as 'the same' as I can make it.
