![]() Some Prelim stuff for those of you Slavering, I cut and Pasted this, so Credit to the authors: (47) Natural Selection -> (61) Selection(47) Longshank -> (61) Longblade(4 Level 65 ability - NEW SkillHawk Dive"Calls a hawk to attack the ranger'starget. While in effect, some of thehate enemies have with the ranger isinstead transferred to the hawk. Theamount of hate transferred increasesthrough upgrades."
Also of Interest:
-The level 50 marquee spells do not follow the normal level advancement, and its upgrade is granted at level 70. -Some spell lines will end altogether and not get their +14 level upgrade in the expansion. This only occurs if the spell's upgrade path involves a raw percentage that is always effective no matter what level you use this ability, and any upgrades would break the balance of the spell. There is no replacement spell, since you can use the raw percentage spell at any level and for less power than what you would get with a higher level spell upgrade. -Some spells do not follow the general +14 level advancement, and may vary by +/- 1 level. This was done for certain levels where no spell upgrades were being granted, often because of ending spell lines from spells that cannot possibly get better. -Desert of Flames Legendary spells are unique and do not follow normal level advancement, and will not have any upgrades in Kingdom of Sky. ![]() Can't really post too much on the AA system right now. It's getting changed almost everyday. I will try to take screen shots of what they say when they are examined. There is I think 40 to select from. Kinda wierd set up. You'll see. LeoricLevel 60 ranger

Thanks for the info, guys.Kinda a pain, though, that they're mostly limited-use buffs. I'd much rather have less powerful always-on abilities, or more powerful rare-use ones, than this 5 minute recast 4 minute duration junk. That's just tedious to use.

Honestly if these ones shown here stay as the release ones, INT seems the good path for over all use. Big dmg poison, spell crits ie imbued procs and poisons, and the rest are sorta ok. The other skill tree's honestly just don't offer much at all . . heck STA makes us a wannabe Tank . . hehe to funny. Guess tahts good for those OOPS dang, agro'd again.God that reminds me of a Britney SPears song lolOpps I agro'd again . .

There should be skills like this . . .Sniper's Glory = Short duration Ignore all mobs defence for landing ranged attacks. like 1min duration 5min recharge.Stealthly Fire = Each bow shot lowers hate by 50 and returns you to stealth for duration, 1min duration 10min recharge.Bowyer Mastery = Increases Chance for Crit hits, 10% chance to inflict added 50 dmg per hit 1min duration 10min rechargeHunter's Companion = Summons a wild animal from the surounding area to aid the Ranger, Deals 100-150 dmg per hit for duration or till target dies max duration 2mins 10min recast.Bow of the Elements = Temprarily Imbues your ranged attacks with a dmg effect from each elemental plane, Magic, Fire, Ice, dealing 25dmg for each elemental type that lands on the target. All hits will deal the dmg not procs, Max duration 1min with 10min recast.Atleast then tis really neat effects with some good use, not 1 maybe 2 skills per tree thats even remotely useful Heck as is I bet no archers wil even try to master a tree, but will instead spread to STR and INT to get the added stat bonuses from each at the highest amounts.

Severe poison damage that's heat damage?Anyhoot,I think the current setup is rather good, in that it adds some diversity to our characters, but also keeps in mind the AP vs Non-AP problem.This is, if we have 'Holy Sniper - does 1500 damage against Undead on next 3 arrows' or something, we'd find Undead combat almost trivial, yet for someone who hasn't got the KoS expansion, it'd be as hard as ever.If the skills are too exotic or too powerful, we'll find ourselves in a typical SoE buff-nerf cycle from now til eternity.If the skills are more subtle however, it adds a new degree of variation and skill to our character set.That doesn't mean to say I am blow away by the skills chosen bySoE thus far.I was hoping for some things that would be a real hard choice, thus meaning there'd be a good chance of lots of different forms of Ranger.As it stands now I pretty much know what I'd do.I do like the weapon specific choices though, I think that's a nice touch.And keep in mind, this is SoE, so we're bound to see them changed, added to (in content that you pay for of course) and nerfed for years to come. At least the code is in game now. And we're not Generic Ranger #1 anymore.

Heh, go check out the berserker AA's, now those are some decent skills to spend points on. Passive abilities, that's what we need too not some 15 min recast crap.

I was the author of the Predator Achievements post that was more or less reposted here from the Beta forums. The post has been updated tonight and is up on the Assassin boards since the Predator boards are gone.
