Or other things like backstabs? Thinking of two boxing ranger + ranger but if this class requires a lot of getting into posistion like behind someone it might prove to be difficult...

absoloutly, but not till higher levels, like 30+ does your bow damage really start to shine.I'd 2 box a Pally+Ranger.

as a paladin myself I would have to say duoing with a ranger is awesome. just put on my master 1 amends and 1 taunt. take down a heroic with no aggro issues. great duo imo

![]() Although rangers are awesome, i wouldnt reccomend playing 2. Rangers do the best DPS when they can be back from the mob, far enough to use the bow CA's. If the mob is right on top of you, your dps is cut in half, and its just a waste of a good ranger I would reccomend duoing a ranger with some sort of tank class. Someone that can hold aggro so you never have the mob close and can do your damage. My personal choice would be Paladin, as i have a pally I duo with and we rock just about everything. Also, in emergency, the pally heal can save your butt. If you dont want a tank class, I might reccomend conjurer with a tank pet. Conj's do great dps, and the pets are actually decent at holding aggro for you. It kind of turns into a trio with pets Anyway, thats my 2 coppers worth. Necro also works well, grouped a little with the necro from a friend the last days and was really suprised how good his tankpet could hold aggro against me

I've never 2-boxed, but I cringed at the idea of trying to control 2 at the same time. My best duoing experiences have been with a Pally and a Warden, mostly I think, because they can hold the MoB and even provide some healing if it comes to it. That speeds everything up.

hehe.. i am sensing alot of people have worked out the Pally/Ranger duo. amends is awesome, their heals and wards are awesome, and our DPS just makes this combo a group by itself.

i think like 95% of my DPS comes from my bow... or through my bow anyway, 50-60% is proc dmg.++Xan

Never really Duo'd with a pally, but have Duo'd with a Mystic and he and I owned Silent City for about 2 hours, killing everything in our path, the 57^^^ Spetre's and every named in the joint was at our mercy. key is to convince the Mystic that he can tank them, because from behind I was killing ^^ in about 45 seconds - 1minute.....couple of wards and eh was fine
