I chose Alchemist because I wanted to be able to make my own poisons and such. My alt is a jeweler for the CA upgrades So I am pretty set.BedlamX

![]() I went Jeweler so I could make my adept 3s and shiny pretty jewelry. :smileyvery-happy: Plus, jewelers seem to be somewhat scarce on my server (Lavastorm). Alchemists are another great way to go, so you won't be spending a large fortune on poisons. I am lucky enough that my bf is a scout and has a 60 alchemist and 60 armorer.

I regret not making a alchemist. I have a 60 armorer and 60 jeweler and I know for a fact I have spent way more on poisons than I would have in fee's making ad 3's and armor. On a plus side (depending on your server) alchemist can make a lot of cash. Everytime I go to the broker all the poisons I want are gone. So I go to my friend who makes, and he tells me he will make a batch of poisons and by the end of the day or next day all of them have sold. I'm talking about T6 though, not sure on the prior tiers.

Yes, we go through WAY to many poisons, but remember to be effective you have to have your TS level => your Ranger level

![]() Kinda sucks now that fixed the poisons..it was nice if you die you can use the poison again and just zone to get it back... made it last a lot longer. I got a good friend who is an alchemist and i help him farm a lot of stuff for him so i get all of my poisons for free lol. LOTS of poisons. I dont see any really useful professions but Jeweler & Alchemist for a ranger. Just for the adept 3s can get very pricy if you do not know anyone to make them for you. Same with poison. armorer and weaponsmith and bowyer... those are usually just 1 time purchases and that is it.

![]() Went with Alchemy... for the obvious reasons. Just seemed "right" for the ranger. :smileyhappy:

![]() I went Jeweler. I trade the loams from the Ink, which I make into Vials etc with a Alchemest friend I get half back filled with the posion / Potion of my choice. On the side, when I make an Adept III I get the legendary poisons to go along side it. As a Jeweler you will make a lot of Ink (Runes) = Lots of Loam = Lots of Poison.

I went provisioner so I could get totally bored in no time flat and completely abandon tradeskilling by the time I hit 35 prov.

Yah.. I grinded from 28 to 60 just so I could be DONE with it. It took me about a month of solid grinding to get there..but I am sooo glad that it's over with! lol. It's nice also, that when I level, I don't have to hunt down a jeweler...I hook myself up! hehe Plus, I get all of those yummy loams from making a tons of adepts for every scout in my guild and alliance (I'm the only Jeweler in our alliance, so I stay BUSY) which I pass over to my bf so he can make us boxes full of Legendary posions and potions. Woot woot. It's a schweet deal.
