Aside from raiding for fabled items, and even then, there doesn't seem to be that much Medium Armor, any level 45-50 Rangers have suggestions for gear/weapons?

I was afraid of that. Our guild raids a few times a week, but I've yet to see ANY medium armor drop and ebon prices are still around 3pp each on my server. *crosses fingers* Well there's always hope that Splitpaw will provide some better gear.

![]() There are other nice items that are received from quests and/or mob related drops, ebon armor isnt the end all for those not raiding. I have some decent gear that does fine until I can one day upgrade it with fabled. I have always tried to go for agi and str armor, regardless if it was medium or not. I base this decision on the fact that 99.9% of the time I am not getting hit by a mob, so I don't worry much about having high mitigation. Once this quarter is done and I finally start making money again I plan on upgrading my account so that others may view my gear. By no means is it the "must have" or "perfect" set of gear, but perhaps it will give those budding rangers out there something to compare to. I hope this helps. ![]() I plan on getting a full set of ebon for [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]s and giggles. Decided at random for my 2nd ebon piece - bracers (just got new non-ebon legs and hate upgrading so soon P). Ebon bracers are about 5% better than Whimsical Bracers (which should be fairly common and cheap), so... unless you're weird like me, don't bother getting that made =)

Honestly, you could raid naked, and you wouldn't see much difference, personally I would go with whats cost effective for you.For example, the dropped ebon pieces etc, heck even fulg will work.Unless some drastic earth shattering change happens soon, I don't feel like wasting $$$ or DKP on armor

Definatly get what you can afford or whats in your best interests. I will always strive for fabled armor because if you don't get the best you can get now, your not planning for the future. I am sure there are going to be mean mobs coming into the game that will eat you up if you dont try and get the best possible upgrades. Since this gnoll pup cant touch me right now, it doesnt mean that there arent bigger gnolls down the road. Just a thought. Linyen Message Edited by gossin6 on 05-13-2005 06:34 AM |

I actually did this on acident before, and when buffed up fully, there really wasn't that much of a difference, so don't break the bank just for a few more points. I'd personally stick with the best you can get for the cheapest amount, upgrading combat arts is where your money will be best spent. |

![]() A full set rare craftet T5 light armor is a cheap and very good armor. You can get a full set for about 1-2pp and in my opinion it looks much better than the ebon craftet stuff. Ventural of Innovation
