I was so happy when i got to the end of the sonic line...but i so missread the spell Sonic Inter.from what i get....it reduces the duration of mobs spells and combat arts but increases their DoTS length?i mainly solo and do the big group thing, rarely raid. does it mean that mobs will hurt me less with big hits but as long as i burn them fast the dots wont really matter?but at the same time wont this go really bad if i fight a mob solo who mainly uses dots?and what of Harmonization? both these spells seem to be written like fortune cookies. what spells does Harm go well with and what about the dps downside?

As I understand them, both these spells stretch or contract over time spells. "Increases duration by 25% of damage overtime abilities" - this means that the DOT ticks slower, giving you or your healers more time to cure between each tick. It becomes clearer in the description to Harmonization: "Any persistant spells that heal or cause damage have their durations reduced, allowing their effects to occur faster." Kian's will tick faster, as well as HOT's.

I'm not sure if it still does it, but in Beta Sonic Interference would have a negative effect if used on the wrong situation.  If mob used an ability that would ie:Stun and deal damage over time, with sonic interference up, it would extend the duration of the ability to extend ticks between the dot.  It would ALSO extend the duration of the stun, thus the negative effect.  Haven't tested it out recently, but might be worth looking at.

It is still bugged and having a negative effect as Bink explained above. Once I noticed this I haven't used it since...

Well i choose the Sonic one... have to say still not sure what and if it does something but i have noticed a huge difference in fighting the blue solo mistmore guards. normally they would take up to half my health killing one, when i use sonic thing i only loose about 1/4 of my health. the onyl downside i have seen if you fighting a mob that takes a time and youve got Demorilizing Procession and Sonic playing your mana can go rather fast if you forget about them

It is a situational thing. When a mob has an AE with a stun/DoT combo, it is actually bad if you use it since it is dragging out the stun duration even longer. However, it could be kind of useful on mobs such as the eyeballs in DT since those are pure damage over time AEs. If you get this line, you have to pay attention and know when to put it on and when not to, if thats too much for ya i wouldnt get it SMILEY
