1 - There are already only a few Troubadors - many guilds have only one or two or none active.
2 - The change your planing is a CLASS defining change - it takes away over half of a troubadors unique value
3 - The current ability has no negative effect on the game  - we are not overpowering situation
4 - Many of us have spent lots of hrs developing troubadors with this skill as a major reason.  (we get to save the day at times in single groups)
5 - Your decision will do much more harm to the interest in the class - then it does good to any other game aspect.
6 - Without that skill we become the lowest value of the scout class
7 - You rob the ability so solo in any reasonable way.
8 - I am sure that if you ask any Troub on the test server - there will not be ANY that say they enjoy their character more now
9 - So many important things need to be addressed - that would actually help - this change has no value

(I hope you have a way to re-contact Trobadors that quit the game - and get them interested again - after you do this harm to the class)

Never played a Troub-but just thinking that at this stage in the game-Nerfing any classes core abilities 98% is a major screwup on somebody's part.

Don't know who pushed this through at SOE-but you screwed up.

No class should ever have one of its core abilities nerfed 98% at this stage in EQ2's life.

I feel for the troub's.  To put that much time and care into a class, only to have somebody change it drastically is sad.

Hope they see the light and don't let it go live.

Cheers,

Jerril

P.S.  SOE what most of us want is stability-we spent a lot of time-and quite a few hundred dollars getting our toons to higher levels.  We agree that some tweaking is always going to be needed-but PLease PLease Please stop major class changes at this stage of the game.

Really, the charm is sad to see go, but the mez was the really important one to the solo/group troub.  It's being nerfed 66.6 (repeating, of course)% for most players, 75% for the skilled players (in effect, since we're going from locking 3-4 mobs to 1).  So, that's one for 97% (since it's 14 seconds now) duration, and even more for the reuse.  Then another for 66.67% - 75% effectiveness.  It is late in the game to be making that drastic a change.I'm still going to play, but it will only be because of friends.  I don't have the time to bring another toon up to 70.
