Currently my swashie is lvl 47. I recently started a ranger to lvl a bit because my wife gets annoyed if I get to many lvls above her on my main. The ranger just dinged 28. To be honest I'm starting to feel a bit insecure about my swashie's DPS. I know ranger are tier one DPS and swashies are tier 2 but I have been noticing some things that kind of make me step back and worry a bit. My ranger (At lvl 2

![]() Single target under a minute fight, a well played Ranger will beat a well played Swashy, by a few hundred DPS. IE: 1500 Swashy vs 1600 Ranger for example. Multi target or a fight over a minute, Swashy will beat Ranger by a few hundred DPS. I raid with a bunch of Rangers.. most parse way under me except for the one who actually knows what he's doing, which acts like the case above. Swashies don't get their great DPS on until they get Inspiration and Hurricane. Then let the good times roll. Message Edited by Rokjin on 01-18-2007 08:43 AM

Not the case for me at 46.I've a full set of Ebon gear, a legendary 1hs that I picked up for 30g, a good poison, mostly app4 CAs (yeah, I said it, App4), plus I went down the STR/WIS lines and have 31aa. (at like 40aa I'll have melee crit maxed out and I should be even more happy)I parse high, but I find that players at this level/tier have not been playing as long as I have, and generally aren't as....comfortable....in the game as I am.
