Can anyone tell me if there is any timing involved with Traumatic Swipe? Like when to use it when not to? Thanks

You have to use it before an ability (like an aoe goes off) and then the ability will take 50% longer to come up next time. for example. Lets say you are fighting venekor in CT and our sample ability is Venemous cloud which has a predictable recast timer. Lets say its 30 seconds. Note: this information is not real, this is just an example. 00:00 into fight: Venekor casts venemous cloud. 00:30 into fight: Venekor casts venemous cloud. 01:00 into fight: Venekor casts venemous cloud. 01:10 into fight: You cast torporous strike. 01:30 into fight: Venekor casts venemous cloud while torporous strike is on. 01:50 into fight: You cast torporous strike, but torporous strike misses. 02:15 into fight: Venekor casts venemous cloud. 02:45 into fight: Venekor casts venemous cloud. Anyways i hope this makes sense. If you are having someone call the aoe with a parse program, I do not suggest using torporous strike because its unpredictable (because it can miss) and really messes stuff up. For everything else though (majority of content), having 50% less of mob-specific-abilities is very nice. Like eyeball AOE's in deathtoll, tarinax, et al.

Some of the new versions of ACT actually take TS into account and add the 50% to the timers when you set it ip.

Another thing to remember is that TS does not only effect AE's, it effects ALL CA's and spell that the mob uses, therefore you create a significant reduction in damage to the tank and the rest of the raid.
