I guess I am trying, from a lore perspective, to understand exactly why Erollisi Marr is not in any way shape or form treated equally to Mithaniel. The emphasis has always been on Mithaniel. Even in the old Temple of Marr, 99% of the NPC's in there worshipped Mithaniel. There doesn't seem to be a Plane of Love, yet there is clearly a Plane of Valor. Erollisi is not mentioned anywhere that I can find when the Gods were meeting with each other to discuss the fate of Norrath. The only time her name even comes up is when they are doing cute little events around Valentine's Day. I find it interesting that the elves could worship her instead of Tunare....this seems to hint at a greater level of importance of Erollisi to elvenkind. I don't know. I have thought since EQ1 launched that the Queen of Love is getting a crappy deal. She deserves better. --Terabithian Evensong, the Voice of Erollisi--

Because from a paladin's point of view, doing what is morally right and noble is usally a larger factor than just fighting for the sake of love. There is a Plane of Love. Just because it wasn't put into Planes of Power doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Who said that all races absolutely HAVE to worship the god who created them? My Wood Elf Bard was happy to follow Erollisi Marr in EQlive.

I agree that I wish she had a bigger influence too though.

i remember a GM event once in EQLive in the dreadlands.  Erollisi Marr appeared as a giant female barbarian with a sort of winged tiara/helm on her head.  was a pretty cool site to see.

She didn't look like this?

Thats interesting. From what you describe, it'd have to be a unique model because I don't remember the female barbarians getting any items that fit that description.

Thats not my point. Before Planes of Power, if they had intended to show Erollisi Marr in EQ, she would have looked like that screenshot. A Barbarian Female model with a white dress texture of which no actually player could look like.

Bristlebane himself looks completely like a halfling except he shaves his feet (with stuble to show it), and has a different face that no player can choose.

So if anything, Erollisi would have looked like the picture above when you saw her, yet from what you describe, she didn't.

My half elf bard was a follower of Erollisi Marr in EQL. I always thought it was dissapointing that she was one of the deities who didn't get much attention. :smileysad:

E. Marr did also show up in 2005's Halloween Monster Mission that ran in Kith Forest where you played Gods and saved Rivervale. I don't recall all the lore, but the 6 involved were the odd mix of RZ(Warrior), CT(SK), Tunare(Druid), E-Marr(Cleric), either TT or Saryrn(Chanter), and either Bert or Inny(Necro). Loved the white 60's go-go boots on her
