Gods - A lie?

Have the Gods of eq1 exactly been gods... Basically the fallen dynasty is about some guy who lost his memory and actually was an avatar or a godright?If a rock on the head can make someone of that power lose their memory that doesnt seem like hes to powerful to meAlso The gods planesWho knows maybe those were created by the nameless and the gods were people just as anyone in the eq world.. Just maybe their alot more powerfulBasically rallos zek could just be a really tough ogre who likes to fight..

There is God [big G apparently refered to as the Nameless?] and gods [little g] Creation and aspect respectivly.

Zebuxoruk (the guy who lost his memory in Fallen Dynasty) is a Human, a mortal, or ended up discovering the secret of how to become a god, and on multiple times ended up with some form of Amnesia that made him forget how he became a god, so he's reverted back and forth between mortal and godhood a few times.

Well just think in next expansion due out what fourth quarter this year the Gods are coming back. "Supposedly" now your choice of who you worship will give you some kind of benifit so that could prove to be interesting.

Zeb was not a god. He attained, and knew hot to attain, godhood. he is known as the ungod. so therefore, if he is not a god, we can speculate that he can/may be subject to things that affect mortal things. including memory loss or a bump on the head. something sounds like it would not be by accident that he would forget the way to become a god.

The gods took away Zebuxxoruk's memory for this reason, as they were frightened that more mortals would attain his knowledge, and imprisoned him in the plane of time. Though, with the gods leaving, who knows what would have happened to Zeb, being still in PoTime.

They didn't "Take Away" his memory. He rightfully lost it.
