Can we expect the Willow Wood's Feir'Dal population to all migrate to Kelethin once it is rediscovered? Considering how much the NPC's mourn for it's loss, it wouldn't make sense for them to stay around in Qeynos once they had Kelethin back.

It would make sense. I can think of quite a few Willow Wood NPCs I wouldn't be surprised to see sitting on the docks when we arrive on Faydwer.... and good riddance! When they're not talking about the long lost motherland, they're usually telling my dark elf how evil he is and how they don't want him around... I mean, I know I'm only in Qeynos to perfect the art of conjuration... but it still hurts... I'm a person too!
I guess it's all up to the devs whether or not we actually see some of them over there, but here's hoping we do :smileywink: Maybe even as a live event some time afterwards where we help them turn Faydwer into the continent they once knew or have always imagined.

Hmm Willow Woods COULD use a few glowing crystal lined tunnels, underground canals, Dojo of the Swift Tail clan,  half Elves and Wood Elves who grew up in Qeynos will likely stay. After all, I moved to South Qeynos because Dwarfs and Barbarians just wern't my style.  ~Kurayami Q'Daur, Initiate of the Silent Fist, Teir'dal of Qeynos -Being bad doesn't mean having to be evil  :smileywink: -

I'm sure there's some young upstart elves in Willow Wood who prefer to be 'modern' and live in the Big City SMILEY

I wouldn't bet on it, but who knows?

After all, we still have frogloks asking if we've found thier brethren yet, and Halflings asking what the heck happened to Rivervale.

My guess is they will do the same thing they did with Dancer and Antonia and Lucian's Leutenants. They will exsist both in WW and the new Feydwar

We currently know that Neriak & Rivervale still exsist; however, the previous inhabitants aren't reclaiming their homes.

Now, for some reason a few undead are keeping us Tier'Dal from reclaiming our rightful home & Innoruuk knows that we're very unhappy with the living conditions in Freeport.

I don't see what's stopping those dirty little Leatherfoots from retaking their home.  Like ants at a picnic they managed to participate in ruining a beautiful Neriak.  Why can't they rally those Nightbloods & other corruption in Rivervale?

I will personally /pout relentlessly if the Fier'Dal get to return home.

The only difference is Faydwer will offer a large and relatively safe haven for those who wish to live there (atleast that is my assumption, given that Kelethin will be a starting city choice for new players). The other two places are hostile enough to scare away most who wish to call them home. And Rivervale is actually home to quite a few halflings who are still trying to make the best of a bad situation :smileywink: Visit the tavern there... it's like a 24/7 party

It will the the starting city for the Fae. Everyone else still has to go to Qeynos or Freeport, but there will more than likely be an option to live there anyway. Probably not from betrayal or exile quests, but more like Maj'Dul in that you can still buy a house and do a quest for a Gate spell.

I don't know about a betrayal quest, I know quite a few elves who plan on moving there, me included.

Nope won't happen. While we all would love to have a game to dynamicly changes like that. If all the Feir'Dal population moved to Kelethin, and a newplayer bought just the original Game and wanted to be a Feir'dal where would they start? The original game has to stay pretty much as it was on Day 1. The reason for this is if a new player starts today, all the citys zone to them fit the time and place that they are currently in. For older play ya it seem like the city is allwasy stuck on day 1. Also adding new text for all the charaters in the city to say, would take a ton of time that could be better spent on development of new content. Even in eq1 its like that.. you can start eq1 today and walk around your city and its pretty much exactly as it was on day one.

If they don't go then, then I hope someone will exile them. [Removed for Content]! That way we won't have to listen to thier whining.

I know I will be moving back! I haven't seen Kelethin and the Greater Faydark for quite some time now. *deep sigh* SMILEY

I DEFINATELY will be moving to Kelethin if we are allowed to. I could have sworn I read somewhere that players will be able to move there, but it may just be wishful thinking.I can't freakin wait to get back home. I miss the Faydark, and indeed all of Faydwer more than anything else in Norrath. It's about time we get to go home.On a side note though, I always thought it would be a REALLY neat touch if as we rediscovered the racial home cities we would be able to repopulate them. It would have to be made so that players can only move back in after some major event to retake the city if they have been overrun or something. I know the game started off being cenetered around Qeynos and Freeport, but honestly the Devs havn't made much of this rivalry between the two cities. It was supposed to be a major plot point, but it turned out to be nothing more than a change of scenery and NPC attidues. So c'mon Devs, the whole Qeynos vs. Freeport thing was a great starting off point, but do you really think the inhabitants of Norrath wouldn't want to go back to thier racial home towns if possible? Wouldn't you want to go back home after being exiled for so long. I could see not allowing this if you were centering the plot and quests around which of the original 2 we owe alligance to, but you aren't doing anything with that. I think it could possibly be one of the coolest features EVER in an MMO to allow the players to retake thier racial home cities from what or whoever has control of them. Please, let us go home

It's not the Undead that keeps us from going back to Neriak, but the political atmosphere. Thexians are bothersome and some might have the ear of that annoying Lucan through some mambers in Longshadow Alley after all they couldn't survive long in Freeport without Lucan getting something out of it. That and First gate is a royal mess ad somewhat unstable. I hear that Rivervale has not undead but demons, something that even gives even a Teir'dal pause. Besides other then the occasional snide comment, I prefer Qeynos's atmosphere. Not everyone belonged to a noble family, or even remember Neriak.
