In game links to items

I know most of you will already know the answer to this, but I wanted to know if there was a way to access in game links to items if you actually do not posses the item. I saw on other posts commands to get links to view items in game. I am assuming there is a website which has all of the items listed, then you plug in that item number and the ingame link will pop up.

Can someone please explain to me how to do this?
