low number of adepts

I recently dinged 61 I had a look around for the spells and the only ones on the blackburrow merchants were appIV for Runic Aegis and Ancient Avatar.

there was 1 adept I sepll for ancient Avatar which was selling for 2 plat.

I checked for the other levels and there was spells there in abundance.

I would up them to adept III but am lacking the moonstone for them as yet.

I checked again last night and found the ancient avatar adept I for 17g which I grabbed for the extra 7 stat points

Is it just me or is there a severe lack of these spells or is it just blackburrow that has this?

I've had no trouble finding Mystic adept I's on the broker on Everfrost. Is the adept I market for most other classes saturated on your server? If that's the case, maybe everyone is just vendoring Adept I's for 6gp rather than trying to sell them on the broker for 6gp, 1sp...

its not overly saturated (unless you are a shadowknight and they seem to drop everywhere) the market price is above the merchant price in most cases. Maybe the areas which the spells drop just are visited enough so people don't get the spells.

If I could find the right spot I might drag a group up there and go and make some cash SMILEY

I'm only 58, so I haven't looked for level 61 adepts yet, but you might want to take a look for masters of the spells that are being replaced. I picked up an Avatar master 1 (think it does +59) relatively cheaply a while ago -- which means that I probably won't be looking for an Ancient Avatar Adept 1. That said, I've noticed that mystic adepts are pretty common at most levels on Befallen.

It isn't just Blackburrow, seems that some spells are just more common than others. Maybe it's the zones/areas where most people are fighting.

I would say just go with Zotar's advice. If you can't find the adept 1, just get the master or adept 3 of the previous version until you get moonstones. Particularly with nukes and debuffs, having an adept 3 of a lower level can often be much more advantageous due to the resist modifier.

Runic spell at 61 on mistmoore is a good example. Everyday since expansion I have check evil and good brokers for our lvl 61 spell. There has been only 1 for sale..its still for sale....for well over 1p. If Pai and I could find the dude and beat it out of him we will...but until I find a moonstone..I'll stick with my Adept 3 version.

Well if you ever group with other priests, you'd need to make getting adept 3 runic a priority anyway, due to that bug that makes lower level shaman mitigation buffs take precedence over higher level other priest mitigation buffs.
