if the mobs are orange to you then the poisons or whatever are usually a higher level then you can take off. Also there are some effects out there you just cant remove

Aye.  Examine your spells closely.  Somewhere in the examine window it will tell you how many levels of effects it is able to remove.  If the mob is at that level, sometimes just near it, the effects become harder and harder to remove.  If the mob exceeds your level of cure, it's probably impossible to cure.I'm not sure what the status of spell upgrades offering more levels of cures is, perhaps we should look into it.

I understand not being able to cure it....I've run into that multiple times already. However, the single target cure can handle what the group cure can't (or appear to can't)..... The group target cure is higher in level.I'll probably try it on myself while soloing and go on that....

That is not always true.  Look at the levels.I healed for a group last night facing mobs that were orange and red to me.  Occasionally I could remove effects from the orange mobs with Ancient Balm Adept 1.  Occasionally I could remove effects from the orange mobs with my Group cure.  Occasionally I could remove effects from the orange mobs with a single target cure.I never once removed an effect from a red mob with any cure. It's all about the level of the effect versus the level of your cure.  All cures have levels, these levels may be different or change or grow with your character. In the end, it's all about the levels.

On a general sense you should be able to cure any effect from a mob thats orange to you. It all plays off a few different things.

1. Is it cureable? ---> 2.) can the cure, cure more than what the mobs lvl is. ---> 3.) Is it a spell that cant be cured with group or single cures and needs to be cure with a speciality cure like ancient balm?

Ebbing Spirit adept 3 cures 108 levels of noxious and arcane effects....haven't seen anything yet that isn't removable with that.

After using fading spirit to cure myself, then using the solo verse to cure myself....There's a delay with the fading spirit spell that the solo target doesn't have.
