How Long to get 1 AA Point?

I was just wodneirng how long it takes to acquire 1 AA point so that I can get my pet.I plan to make a mystic soon and the main reason i choose the mystic over a fury is because of the pet.As soon as i get 1 point i can get the pet right?

It is very easy... free basically.

Read some of the threads about the pet before you choose the class based on it as you will probably be dissapointed with it.

1) You have to have the KoS expansion2) You have to be level 203) Here's a link to a primer that Kendricke created in the Gameplay forumsYour first point does indeed give you the pet, but if you have read any of the other threads here that pet is essentially useless for TANKING (well, useful for semi dps); but eventually useful for the many other AA's later on.Hope that helps.

like, once i get to level 20, how long will it take before i get 1 AA point?whats the fastest way to get a point at level 20?I know the pet is weak but i love pets anyways.I dont choose my class based on how powerful it is, but rather, how fun it is.

Your first discovery will get you your pet (zones where rest for discovery exp) so it is extremely easy to get.

The dog is nice (for centimental reasons mostly) but it certainly is weak offenively and defensively so don't get your hopes up to much.

Just go anywhere in Thunderring Steppes or Nek, and the first discovery of a new area will give you the point.

At level 50, I got about 3 achievement points from discovery xp by exploring Barren Sky, TS, Nek, EL and parts of the Feerrott and Rivervale.
