I got one too, looks just like the halas bear hat from EQ 1 on my Barbarian Complete with tribal spear and all! (Spear and hat sucks btw) =P

Stats may suck, but it "looks" completely right for a Shaman.I want my Spear of Fate.

I love my mystic, but i hate the graphic of that helm. Thank goodness for the ability to not show your helm.=)

Got this helm also but shows no graphic with my human SOGA model :smileysad: . Turned off my SOGA appearance and Voila - Anyone else have this problem? Im hoping its a problem with this specific helm only.

The hat doesnt seem to appear on Soga models, thus people with Soga models cant adore your nice new Hat. Oh well! Barbarian Soga models r terrible anyways =P.I agree Banditman that even if the stats do suck, the shamanic look is definatly there. I think they did a great job with it. I hope i can find a Hat and Spear with decent stats that looks like this or similar, but at the moment even with the sucky stats ill be using this crap [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] spear and hat just for the loook (thank god healers dont have to worry about AC and stats as much as Fighters). I need the spear for Strength line AA's anyways =P.

Hood graphic works with Froglok SOGA models - Thats the only class that i know of.

I like the way the hat looks....a change of scenery and a little more flavor is always nice. A lot of the new armor graphics that came with KoS do not work with SOGA models, so I'd keep them off if you want to admire what you and everyone else has to show for your adventuring in the new expansion.

I saw an item today with the same look, lvl 69, and has Effect Cannabalize. Liek 55 hp 50 mana 27 wisdom 340 + AC Chain. Cannabalize is supposedly faster than manastone.

Pretty sure he's referring to a link we saw in the worldwide mystic channel. It's a lot better than Hood of Farseeing, but a lot more rare as well. Supposedly drops in sanctum, where the Bolster master also can drop. I spent a good bit of time in that zone leveling to 70, but have yet to see many good mystic gear or spells.

Okay yes I'm a Shaman, but I'm a High Elf female...I simply cannot conceive of a High Elf that would be caught out in public wearing a dead animal on their head.

By the way, anyone got a screenie of the stats on the spear? Was it a quest or a drop? And which item has the Canni effect and where/how do you get it?
