I was wondering what this spell does....first of all i would like to say i had a laugh when i first summoned that huge badger expecting a spectre-like pet.
now i can't see a description that tells me what that spells  does...all i could find out is that it heals a bit...but honestly from what've seen it's just not worth the 98 power at level 45 when i  have better heals that cost less power.
another question..i've just found a ruby and was wondering what spell i should upgrade...I want something that will prove usefull in groups and raids

our aide is good for 2 things: 1) getting a good laugh from the group if you just mumble "Badger badger badger badger" and pop it 2) if you fight mobs with a low ae where the whole group is affected, its quite a nice heal (but nothing i would use my last mana on, hehe) @ruby question: search is your friend, but this time just sticky this thread

Better use for Shadowy Attendant: SA fulfills the "helmet" icon of a Heroic Opportunity . . . and is unresistable.  Guaranteed to land every time.  I save this one for important HO's like Luminary Fate.

Uses:

Helmet HO advancer.

Inefficient group heal over time.

Fluff spell because who can resist laughter when you group is on the verge of death and a mystic with a pretend scottish accent says he is about to crap a badger.

Help us Aid of the Oracle...you're our only hope!

I love him for the sheer ridiculousness of it and I cast him often. I can never be sad when he is part of the party!

We had a lvl 43 join our group and I was 48 at the time. She almost had a heart attack yelling at us that a giant red ugly ADD had aggroed and had followed. Good times.

Simple: run around and chain cast any spell that uses subjugation while moving. You should get it in the 200ish range pretty easily. And yes, I use it for luminary fate. In fact, I think that is the only time I've ever really used it.

Oh yea i forgot the best use of the spell... to raise your subjugation. Yes there is an Oh-Sheet spell (accordant spirits) that you can use while running around as well but it's a fast cast and if you lagg or stop a sec you will have to wait 15min to raise skill again.

The oh shheeet spells will still cast and raise your subjugation if you don't have anything targeted. And they won't have any recast because you will get the "you don't have any target" kind of message.  Just FYI. And all I've found to use my aid for is giggles.

Shadowy Attendant has no impact on the hate list in a raid setting.
