![]() Are there any quests anyone can recommend aside from the AQ ones everybody and their cousins sister's brother is all wearing? =) I know some armor Ive seen on others are drops, some are crafted, and 80% are AQ. Currently Im wearing a mix of items for best wis/power/health vrs AC. Some of which is medium, some heavy and even some light.

So far I have found that crafted armor is easier to attain, cooler looking and more useful past a certain level than the AQ armor which is already blue to me at 22 lvl. The plyer crafted stuff I bought is orange and AC increases at 30th level if I remember correctly and the AQ stuff stays the same. Why even bother with it (unless you can't afford the player crafted stuff)? People are already selling their Un-attuned quested armor and buying player crafted stuff.I quit doing the armor quests after the third one, especially since my heavy plate armor gauntlets look like copper colored Betty Crocker stove mittens.

My Templar has only 2 AQ pieces equipped. I would reccomend that Templars talk to the Erudite NPC just inside the entrance of Stormhold and get his quest. He will reward you with a set of heavy plate guantlets, called Guantlets of Storms, and they have a far superior WIS bonus than the AQ gloves with about the same AC. I think the Storm gloves give about +5wis. AQ give 0 Wis.Also, I bought my helm before realizing it was a quest, but there is a quest somewhere you can attain in Baubbleshire which rewards you with Spindlecog Tinkerhelm heavy plave helmet which has like +6Wis and superior AC to NPC bought. I then purchased some player made Pristine Forged Vanguard Spaulders which give about +4-5Wis. At level 21 I had 90Wis, much hihger than most all Templars on my server I ran across a few levels above me. The AQ is for players without the cash to buy anything. With my Provisioner alt hauling in around 3gp+ a night and my friend who has Jewler and Armorsmith alts, I can afford such luxaries and occasionally get some upgrades from him.

Im going to check into these gloves tonight when I get home from work. I already completed the helm quest you mentioned. I also noticed while looking around on a few other websites, there seems to be some nice armor quests you can do in Runneye that I plan to check out soon. Also - theres a morning star quest with an effect of something like cleansing light? Anyone have any info on this? Last but not least - Theres a quest in TS for those that dont know called "An undead education" reward is a really nice earring called "something of the Adapt" cant recall offhand. But it was a really easy quest for a small group of 2 or 3 to complete at lvl 28. |
