I'm specifically wondering what level you need to be to wear the different types of armor.
I read somewhere that we could wear medium armor at 18, only to figure out later that I couldn't.

Well, now I'm at 19, and I was hoping someone could tell me what I can expect.
Am I suddenly going to be able to wear heavy armor after I hit 20, or is there going to be a period where I wear medium before upgrading to full plate?

Just wondering, I can't seem to find this information anywhere.
Thanks!

Sorry, forgot to ask a couple of things on the first go.

Who can we talk to to get our armor quest?
Is it just one person or can we chose from multiple different NPC's for different classes of armor?

Just curious...

Yes, light/very light armor only until level 20 when you can wear medium/heavy.

Talk to Ian in Q Harbor for heavy armor quests.

Awesome, thanks for the reply.

Cant wait to get some new shiney armor!
The dark leather thing has a cool look, but nothing beats the look of some nice cold steel.

Think I'll see if I can get the last two language totems from Blackburrow and finish my elite guard writ.
Then pick up the armor quest and start into that, and ding 20 along the way.

Again, thanks for the help!

The armor quest is quite nice but think about "wasting" some coin on vendor armor or player made stuff until you complete all of the quests.  For cheap vendor armor, head to firemyst (non wind) and buy from the dwarven vendor there.  (to the left and in the camp)  You'll get plate for half the price you could buy from a vendor in Qeynos.  When I hit 20 I did just this and I wasn't sorry for throwing a few silver away for a full set of plate at 20.
