Templar Quest Beginning

I went looking for the various bloodsabres in the down below. The creatures would spawn on me at seemingly random intervals, I dropped quite a few but haven't received any of the scrolls. Am I doing something wrong or is the drop rate just low.

It's a low drop rate. Just keep killing them.
