![]() I seem to have an ongoing rather annoying weight issue with my Necro. She seems to only have a limit of 65. During a normal group exping I accumulate a fair bit of copper and silver which pushes me over that limit and I feel as though I am always under an encumberance effect. Anyone else have this problem, or maybe a remedie? Link to my little Necro: |

Do a coin trade with your other grp mates, or.... if weight is a really bad issue just delete the copper. 10,000 cp makes 1gp, so it's not a big deal.

![]() I've had to resort to carrying no money at all when I go out adventuring.

Well, despite what other people say, I do consider this a real downside of being a mage. This just gets worse if you die or when you leave your group (which has a STR buff). If they just could make the coin add up properly in your inventory, this would not occur. But people reply "you have to go to a bank to do that", blah or "just wear some STR dolls", blah. Why should mages equip fighter-stats to carry their bags? From Tier 1-7, my monk and paladin always had more carrying ability then my two mages. It's over +2000 now, I can equip strongboxes and still don't have to worry. Why is that even necessary?IMO, one class has too few and the other class has to much. The only thing you can do is clear your coin everytime before you start adventuring and have some STR-jewelry in your bags, just in case.

![]() It's odd as I can't remember having this issue with my wizard at this level. I think I might just get a couple of +str potions. Look into the +str gear too.

![]() Take a point or two in the STR line for AA's. It's how I started out for the tank pet bonuses, and it's really worked well for me.

Ya, I had similar problems with always going overweight and put 2 points in the STR AA's and have been happy ever since. I've even had other necro's give me their copper because they where overweight.

Wizards are STR/INT buffers, necros are STA/INT buffers, thats why you didnt had that problem with your wizard, at t7 you get like +85STR which is enough to carry some bags and coin.Normally I dont have that problem because I took the STR AA line, I even carry 2 strongboxes.

![]() I typically put on a +str ring when I'm crafting simply because I don't want to get encumbered when I swap out one of my bags for one of my crafting supply boxes. It's always been a bit of an issue and when I got my first couple of AP's I spent them on +str, which helped. Later, I was able to compensate with equipment and respected. And I frequently found myself deleting copper. |

![]() I usually carry a couple str items to swap out with my normal mage stuff.. one thing maybe to look into is a dagger with the str and int maybe ive seen a few out there, usually dualies but you dont lose too much int and you get a few str.. it basically equates to 1 str = 5lbs carrying.. so if you add 20 str.. you can carry another 100lbs i can carry 400 at lvl 70 because i have a couple fancy str sta agi int wis items that help alot.. but if im swapping for resists i tend to dip below 100 alot once you hit 60 start doing the claymore series, theres alot of nice items like a bracelet with 30 str30 sta 30 agi 30 int and 30wis if thats any help <3 |

![]() Prior to DOF a lot of our gear not only had int but some str as well. Not a lot just usually enough to help get around with normal loot weight. Then a lot of the quest rewards went high int and no other stat, leaving us the 30 pound weaklings with sand kicked in our faces by anything over a few 100 copper. Things do get easier once you hit the int cap as you can swap out int based items for other stats you need. Sark. Message Edited by Sarkoris on 08-09-2006 10:10 AM

Ouch! If your weight capacity is 65, I'd seriously consider swapping some of your armor for STR stuff.

meh, you think you have problems. BAck in the day before KoS, i had a gnome raid warlock with 12 STR. Fully fabled, and not one [Removed for Content] item had str on it. Every time we'd raid, at some point all of a sudden I'd start moving at a snails pace. I'd be like, "[expletive haxx0red by Raijinn], did I pull aggro, who snared me?"....then I'd realize the copper from the last mob we looted put me over the cap. Anyway, I always just deleted the copper. IT's really not that much money at all. Course now there's a ton of mage equipment with STR on it, as well as AA choices. It shoudln't be a problem at all if it really bothers you.

I usually buy some food that has +Str and Sta on it. I like having food for the regen to help counter lich anyway. I don't remember what it's called, but there's some food that lasts for 5 hours and has around 11 Str on it. Thats usually enough to make the difference in being encumbered or not for me

![]() What I'd do is carry 6 strongboxes and simply tolerate the snail's pace! Just be careful when you turn so that you don't hurt yourself! :smileyvery-happy: Seriously, I carry several items that give strength buffs in my weight-reduction backpacks. I swap them in for my intelligence buff items as needed to keep ahead of my weight problem. When I unload at the bank, I put my regular items back on and store the strength buff items in my backpacks for later use. Rinse and repeat.

![]() I have never had a problem with this really but since you are asking for suggestions. Tink Bag, EE Bag, Destroy Copper, The Str AA's give like 8 strength for 1 AA if I recall too although that may not be an option for you. Get rid of your strongboxes and That 30 Lb Dragon bone heritage piece you been carrying around. Also One great way to lose 10 lbs of ugly fat. Cut off your head! :smileyvery-happy:
