First up, I Got no Idea if there is already a thread About this subject so don't Post here Telling me that there is and that I'am a n00b cause I'll Just repoint you to this First Sentence and Tell you to buy new Glasses Because your Getting OLD!.

Debuffs Target's INT and STR by 57.
Catch is It Need's a Essence of Anguish to Cast As you all Know
But....
If The Mob Resist's (And its Likely To if its above 71) It Still Consumes a Essence.
I Do alot of Raiding in t7, But for Example On Tarinax This month along, I Used around 500+ Of those Essences Debuffing...Not to mention the other Nameds in there (eg. The Dragon which splits into 2) And Feel Useless when our rez spell uses the same Essence and I Can't rez.
yea, I Cast Loathsome Mark on Everymob, but Having Drawing of Souls resist doesnt Give me anymore essences than We Have.
I Know Tarinax is highly Resistant to Disease, But Lets put it this way...its a lvl 52 Spell, its gona have a better Chance to resist on anything 70+.
I Don't Have a stockpile Because as mentioned before, I don't Solo much...
I Just want to have the Spell Essence cost Used Only If it Lands, not if it resists or Lands...

thats why i keep a bag of 16x99 essense all the time...
u dont have to solo big mobs, go TS, /cast mark , send pet, a few sec, 1 essense (lvl 17+)
 
does it take so much of your solo time? nope, abt 30 mins u can have 600 or so, can cast 600 times drawings already =)

Strength and Intelligence debuffs cap easily, its not worth casting unless you need one of the six spells you get from it.

This spell sucks.  I don't forsee it getting changed, although the higher level is going to resist more vs lower level spells is... stupid.

Thats besides the Point, The Ratio is 1 Essence Per Kill, 1 Essence per Drawing of Souls Cast, But if mob resists, thats 1 Essence per Mark, 2 Essences per DoS

So thats 600 Times casting Dos (If not resisted) so how much do you rez? trust me, I rez alot Because our class has 100% FD iam usually the only one up if A Raid wipes, and to learn encounters, u need die...alot...

Like I Said Before, solo Time is Weak for me, Most of it is spent raiding cause of my Time Difference

Like the 1 time use aoe, and the HP/Mit Buff, the others are good aswell

Those two are useful, but using one, and possibly taking 200 Drawing of Souls kills to get it back, makes it worthless imo.

In update 26a they are removing spell components from Paladin/SK's spells:
Fighter changes:
- Shadowknight: Dark Caress: Removed summoning of tainted essences as a proc.
- Shadowknight: Tainted Sacrament: Removed spell component cost.
- Shadowknight: Unholy Hunger: Deals disease instead of divine damage.
- Paladin: Penitent Sacrament: Removed spell component cost.
- Paladin: Blessing of the Penitent: Removed summoning of spell component as a proc.
 
I would think if they did for those spells they would do this for Necro's.  Maybe it's not in yet but maybe in 26b or 26c?

From my experience what I have noticed is that if you use Hex of Chaos and then Loathsome mark and THEN drawing of souls it almost always lands. My drawing of souls is adept 3 also and loathsome mark M1. Give that a shot hopefully it'll work often.

With a few resist debuffs up there, it lands every time.

Wait for a Brigand to land rake, pop a int-hex-doll on Tarinax, or whichever you normally get resists on, and it will land basically every time.
