![]() Do most of you find that you solo more than group? I have an alt that is a 33+ necor and would have to say that probably 90% of my play time with her has been solo. Not that I mind but it seems that most groups do not care to have one of OUR KIND in a group. Does this change at higher levels or what. The few groups I have been in it seems like my Mage and now Scout pet really do a fair bit of DMG to the mobs and helps bring them down a lot faster. Just curious

I most often am in groups, we bring too much to the table not to want us in group. At the lower levels, assuming you're playing with newbish players, they don't understand group make-ups or the tank hasn't learned aggro control and hates looking dumb so they don't want you opening your case of whoop*** and taking aggro. Maybe try being more proactive and forming your own groups and start letting folks see what you can do for the overrall group. Eventually you'll have built a reputation (hopefully good) and groups will start asking you to join.

Groups (good ones) are far more preferable than solo hunting, i solo when im lfg until i get a group and that about it apart from occaisionally setting myself a challenge to try.We heal we rez we dps we are very group friendly in my opinion.

The biggest problem, I think, is that a lot of people don't understand what we can do for a group. They seem to think we're solo players only. Perhaps the misconception can be explained by the fact that we *do* solo very well. But we're also great in groups

Necros are insane, I out dps most everyone I group with in a fight longer than a minute. We can use our pets as an off tank if need be. I have even used my pet for MT tons of times. Most of the time the tank class that is there is impressed. We can res people, go invis, FD, heal, do massive damage using DoT spells. I have heard that at higher levels necros can also transfer power. But I am only level 48 so I am not sure. Overall a great class.

Cannot transfer power other than through the use of hearts. Unless maybe whoever told you about the transfer was meaning our pet drain which gives us power.

i recently started playing my necro again. i stopped playing him for a while because it seemed all i was doing was sending in my pet and taking a nap. well, i am glad i came back. i have gained a few lvls over the last few days, and am now lvl 36. at 34 i took the transfer life M2 option. in a group in RoV i think i did more healing than anything else. heal does 2 things for me.. it makes up for slacker healers not doing their job sometimes, and it makes more use out of my lifetap. i was also fortunate in that i have the M1 grim thulian warlock pet at lvl 34... he was dishing out some mean damage and took a few hits for the team too. i only have adept 1 undying adherent tho.. but he does decent holding aggro while i summon swarm of rats and dumbfire zombie.... tho the zombie is moody and sometimes will just sit there staring at me instead of attacking
