![]() This one has me baffled. (Mine is at rank 4, so using that as the example...) Description: Allows the mage's pet to protect their master, sometimes absorbing most of the spell damage the mage would otherwise take. Current Rank: 4 Max Rank: 8 Cost per rank: 1 Target: Caster's pet Effect: Applies Minion's Warding. 20% chance to intercept all magical damage on target. On a successful intercept caster takes 4% of attack damage, target takes 64% of attack damage. Now.. The description says the pet protects the master. But the effect says the master protects the pet. Which is it? Second, 20% of the time something is taking 4% of the damage and something else is taking 64% of the damage. Where is the other 42% of the damage going?

![]() It is talking about the caster of the intercept, which is your pet. Your pet takes the small number, you take the big number basically. The rest of the damage goes nowheres.
