I know its really tempting to continue a thread like the "Why is everyone crying NERF NECRO'S", however, let me offer you all a thought.

I started a necro after making it to 40 with my guardian, and realizing I started a class that didnt fit me (I was a necro in EQ1, and a pet class in WoW); what was I thinking. I was a guardian when the combat change to guardians came, and the flamefests began. After that, no one ever took the guardian board seriously, as it was simply one rant after another regarding the class changes.

We should learn from that, and when folks come to our home here, telling us we should be nerfed, simply ignore them. Do not post a reply, let their post work its way to the end of our board, where it belongs. We who play the class know our class best. We know that in a group with a wizard, the mob could be killed while my little nightshade is still running up to the mob. We know that when the wizards and warlocks run out of power, we are in lich form, still at 50% power, using our DoT's and Lifetaps (and hopefully our pet is still alive lol). That is our place in life; not to be the master of the quick burn down; nor be able to AoE all the adds to near death before the tank ever hits them, to be in it for the long run, to be doing damage when everyone else is OOP.

I think SoE has done a good job in balancing our class. I hope that SoE visits our home here frequently, and sees our issues as a class, and helps us further develop the conjurer and necromancers as a desirable, fun class that brings some variety to the DPS role.

Translation......Rather than engage in debate with other classes Necromancers should stick their fingers in their ears and shout "Nanananan I can't hear you" at the top of their voices until the nasty people with differing opinions go away.
