Anyone else notice this?

I called one last night and he was just the regular skeleton engulfed in green flames... today... he's a skeleton engulfed in green flames  wearing the starter noob tunic and pants.

I hope it's a bug... or if not, that they give him something nicer to wear.

Conjs are reporting this same thing with the air pet, that has to be the lamest thing I have ever seen, noob robes on our ultimate warlock pet, the Grim Terror?  Not very terrifying if he is wearing rags.

I logged on before the update this morning and my Grim Terror looked the way it always has, but after the update it was wearing rags.  I am so disgusted, and no mention of this change in the update notes either.  I already did /bug, /feedback and /petition on this because I have no idea if this was intentional.  I'll post further if I get any info on it.

This better not be related to the sex in video games crap.  So what if my pet is wearing no clothes.

heh, I sure hope that they aren't putting the clothes they put on my shadow assassin on him for some type of sex in video games crap.  I think they are just fiddling with giving the pets more distinctive looks, hopefully.

I'm pretty sure they'd get in less trouble for having a naked genitalia-less shadow following me around than the amount of trouble they'll get into if someone looks at my white human necro sitting up on a horse all dressed up with a little black guy in rags following him around...can we say racism?

I have a feeling it is a bug, you guys really should stop flipping out like it's the end of the world. Because more then likely it was an unintended bug. Especially since the tank pet remains the same. Sit down and take a sedative! :smileytongue: And even if they were trying to differentiate the pet's it wouldnt make sense to give them starter clothing and have the same on both conjuror and necro pets.

I hope it's a bug. I won't even walk around town with my grim terror out, the [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] fool looks ridiculous in pants!

Definitely a bug. They are messing w/ pet files to get the clothes off of the ones that are NOT supposed to have any now, but do (like lich) and probably busted the file and put clothes on even more of them.

I don't see why they'd change lich having clothes on it, most people enjoy that aspect.  However, perhaps the overlay of the clothes it what causes the overlay of the glitchy stuff with Lich and they are working on fixing that.  I really like being able to become a flaming skeleton in a robe.

They are looking at Lich illusion because it is badly broken for many people (me included).   Read through this thread : Lich spell's illusion. Was it intended? Not sure if this has anything to do with the pet clothes but..  probably.  Pet clothes not intended for sure.

LOL for some reason this made me laugh hystarically. Don't worry, it's just a bug...we'll have our butt-naked pets back soon (and hopefully the Grim Temptress clothing bug will be fixed as well, there's no WAY she should still have clothes when every other pet is naked....)

What would be neat (just dreaming here) is if the change perhaps would lead to an upgrade where we can give our pets armor to wear, increasing their stats SMILEY

Who's "flipping out?" I'm just reporting what is obviously an unintended bug.
