Should I buy adept3 pet?

Probably been asked a million times. Should I just keep my fallen hero then take upgrade at 30? I have enough money to have one adept3 what should I get? I generally grp at this level now, way to weak to solo for good xp. Any help would be appreciated.

Use the fallen hero til he stops leveling with you, think it stops at 32. He will be your best pet until that time, then upgrade to UA adept III, because it will be your main pet after 32 until you get the RT pet.

There are several threads about tank vs. dps pets... Do some research and make your own decesion there, but most conclude that tank pet is the best choice at the moment.

I took the hounds at 30, very happy with the dps they provide and they last 3 minutes SMILEY The are awesome, just make sure you place them behind the mob or they might die before timer is up from aoe.

From what I can tell (and what I chose) you've made the better choice. The doggies are tough, no question about it, and the fact that folks say they still outdamage plague of rats into the mide 40's makes em even better SMILEY

what about training pet at the same level ? someone said it's damage like warlock pet and strong like warrior pet, really ?

I haven't heard any of the "big boy's" endorse the level 30 training pet because it is a caster mob. What seems to be happening is our tank pets are still out dps'ing our caster and assasin pets, plus they can take a hit better. At this point you should probably stick with the tank until they change the combat system, hopefully you are still holding onto your respec just in case it makes a big difference for us. I haven't heard anything spectacular about any other pet except our tanks.

It can't take hits as well but some folks solo with it in the thought of it killing quicker meaning it will take less hits. It isn't a tank pet though.
