We've been told all along that they wouldn't be in LU#9...

Over on the eq2summoner forum moorgard made a statement that the spell/pet changes were still in internal testing.

So i wouldnt expect anything till LU 10 or 11.

Since it does seem like there is no help coming for us, I grow curious. Does anyone know how the Necro Population related in #'s to other classes? It seems like we're pretty rare, and I was thinking if this is the case, maybe it's just a by the #'s problem.

Well I've only looked as far as my own server, but on Kithicor necro's are about in the middle of the pack as far as the #'s go. There are 407 necros in a population of about 10,000 lvl20+ characters based on my findings at:

which is only about 4% but thats about right with 24 subclasses.
