LVL 60 Master Air pet for 50 Gold... And i bought it haha

Just a great day of days... when i think someone blundered big time... here i am signing on this morning to check what masters might be selling today... and what does my eye catch... a master spell for 50 gold... and it is red to me... i am lvl 49 btw... so i examine it... lvl 60 air pet... OMG click buy .... Now i bought this thing... run to the bank put it in there... hug it kiss it... chuckle a bit and wonder... Why only 50 gold..... could this guy have just wanted to get ride of it... could this guy be insane... or could this guy have hit the gold button instead of the plat button... what ever the case is... I GOT IT

Rejoice and ah lol... /dies ... my life is complete actually its not all that exciting ... just happy it didnt cost me a arm and a leg

I never used to check for masters in my adept checks of the broker. But last night I did with my 27 Swashbuckler and there sitting there staring me in the face was Unfriendly Reminder Master 1 for 29g!!!! I actually hestitaed thinking it might get replaced soon. But I grabbed it before somoene else did. Though not a Conjurer master it shows the values of masters now. Grab them while they last.

Sad part is, given enough time you probably would sell it for 90 plat. Then you could turn around and buy another copy for a much, much lower price. Instant profit SMILEY

Though i hear teh lvl 60 air pet is just DPS god... cant wait to see the master... turns out i am the only one with it too.. .the person i bought it from though did email me saying that he was selling it for 5 pp and 50 gold he messed up big time on putting the right amount there and congrads... i offer him 5 pp since i know it hurt he declined good man he is... he said it was a server discovery too... SO now i am really happy

I had some wierd luck like that on a couple masters. I got a master Tellurian Recruit for 55 silver, yes, 55 SILVER on the broker. I know it's a noob spell and all, but comon'.. I found a level 30 air pet master on the broker for 10 gold also.

That's about the upper limit I would pay for it too. You outlevel Tellurian Recruit so fast it's barely worth upgrading to Adept III, much less Master I.

May still be useful when mentoring pre-lv24, for example when helping people do the Betrayal quest. That Recruit could probably do most of the quest by itself at lv17.

Aye, Loralor. I try to upgrade ALL my spells as much as possible ( even the early ones) because you never know when you'll be mentoring down to help out lower level characters. There's nothing like being used to using Adept3/Master spells at the high levels and then mentoring down to find out you've only got adept 1 or less on the appropriate level spells for that range.

I recently mentored to help someone in the Betrayal. Guess what? Most of my spells are Apprentice3, because App4 didn't even exists at that time, and Adept1's where costing gold pieces on broker. Talk about innefective mentoring *lol*.

At that time, getting your first ever gold piece was a milestone in itself. I got my first gold at around lv14. Quests rewarded you with 14c, now the same quest gives 4s...

Plus if you're bored and running out of T6 content, you can busy yourself with harvesting T2-T5 nodes for all your own rares to upgrade all those spells to Adept3. That would keep ya busy for awhile. LOL

Yeah because T2 rares sell for what, 15 gold? 55 silver is HARDLY a deal, you'd have to be a [Removed for Content] to pay 55 whole silver for the spell.

Also, I agree it's worthwhile upgrading lower level spells for mentoring, well for me especially as a guild leader I find myself frequently mentoring lower members. Right now I have every spell from level 1-50 at Adept 3 or better and maybe 4 or 5 from 50-60 that I need rares for.

I had someone check, and apparently they said it was listed as found sometime early in the expansion. Sometimes it takes a veeery long time for the database to show worldwide discoveries and such. Ive seen it happen a few times. I've bought several level 20-45 masters for SILVER when clearly the seller intended the price to be GOLD.. Its a great day when you find that kind of thing.:smileyvery-happy:
