last night in el i was hunting nightbloods, i had a petted scourge, and was attacking another like it.
about 15-20 sec in fight my pet suddenly vanishes, and i do mean vanish, poof.
the pet is gone both visually as well as the pet controls.
the mob stands around for a few sec, then resets itself and wanders on.

anyone else experienced this ?

Ive had this occur before too. What I belive the cause is that when you charm a pet from a "group" of mobs when that group re-spawns, your pet de-spawns. Although sometimes the group you charmmed from will just not re-pop, so I dont know what the trigger is exactly but its something to do with this.

I think it has to do with the recent changes to how many encounters you can have active at once. It appears that if you charmed something out of a group, at some point (longer than usual spawntime) the group will respawn, taking your pet away at the same time. At least, it started occurring after the changes.Although it does sound like you were unlucky, and they respawned way too fast.
