Is Coerce Master I worth 70 gold?

If your character is a twink, why yes.If your character is not a twink, odds are you won't have 70 gold, unless you brokered a bunch of rarer collection quest stuff to characters who are twinks.I'd pay a few plat for it at Master I as it will be your most useful spell for some time to come.Master I coerce is better to use than adept III beguile, so it could last you into t5.This is all the food I have for your thought

yes it works even at lvl 60. Think of it as a lvl 60 spell with a shorter duration. Use it untill you get DOminate at M1
