![]() Hey all ![]() I had it in my head that when I rolled an Illusionst they'd be creating Illusions to attack enemies, make the grp invisible in combat for short periods, maybe even have some kind of spell that summoned a huge monster to scare of yr enemies (kinda like an evac but in reverse) or maybe even make an enemy dissapear into think air (ok that last one would prob be a bit extreme). Instead it just seems to be a few DoTs with names that SOE think relate to chanters/Illusionists and mez after mez. Anyways, just wondering if I was only one to think this, as Ive played the other mage classes and all their spells seem "relevant" and more thought out?

The term illusionist is just a flavor, I agree. You could just create any concept and have the same spells, doing the same effects. Just call it a school master and you can :- send to corner (mez)- reprimend (root)- yell at (mental damage)- motivate (haste)...Well, just an idea, but you see where I am going. Someone has more funny ideas ?

![]() actually, once u get to the hgiher levels, u get a spell called Illusiory Allies.....it clones your enitre group and makes the enemy this that its you =) of course using it properly gets tricky, but still

Actually I do kind of like the idea of an illusion spell you cast on a mob that acts as a fear. It creates a very large monster (which does nothing is just an illusion, maybe 1hp on it) and has a chance to fear that mob.
