Okay... there are several bugs with this spell.

1.  When the dark broodlings spawn, they spawn right at the warlock's feet.  They jerk forward, then stop, then jerk forward, then stop.  Often times they never make it to the mob they are supposed to be attacking, as the spell has already expired.  I cannot help but think that simply changing the code to match other dumbfire pets would fix this.  It seems from the spell description like the pets should spawn, run up to the mob, and start hitting it.  The pack of wolves and aqueous hunter dumbfire pets seem to work fine.  Why not just copy that code?

2.  The spell is periodically reprocing.  When the broodlings spawn and start jerking up to the mob, sometimes before the broodlings get to the mob another person's spell will reproc the broodlings.  The original ones disappear and a brand new set appears at the warlock's feet.  Again, they never make it to the mob.  I can't help but think this is a bug.

3.   If a non aggro mob happens to get in the broodlings jerking path before they get to the target mob, they begin attacking it.  Shouldn't the broodlings be attacking the target that I chose for them?  (Spell Description is sort of vague on this point.)

4.  As the Warlock levels, the Dark Broodlings remain lvl 52 con dumbfire pets.  This is similar to the Netheros bug that didn't let him change con as the Warlock leveled.  This doesn't seem to be correct that the Broodlings remain level 52.

I love this spell, but there are some problems with it.  Any other warlocks out there that either concur or have noticed other problems, please post.  Posts with responses get action, and frankly, this is the best spell we get between 51 and 60, imho.

All these points have been covered in similiar posts and been replied too alot do a little looking but yes all those are issues.  Best you can do for now is to stand closer to the mob so they broodlings pop close and cast immediatly.

The spell description says they're unreliable or something like that, which apparently means they nuke whatever they feel like SMILEY. Just dont' cast it in a crowd. /shrug And yes, getting up close and personal with the mob will help them nuke more and slither around less.
