A little advice please =)

Hi guys sorry to ask a question thats been probly asked a hundred times over so please bear with me =)

ok lvl 20-29 i am looking to get three adept 3's made for myself =)

i dont solo

i mostly group

and all I care about is pure unbridaled DPS

so please any advice would be gladly welcomed =)

I got 3 made in 20-29.

Dark Distortion (and chose the very nice AoE at 30)

Suffocating Cloud (a 4sec refresh mini nuke which i only just replaced with Dark Pyre at 3 SMILEY

Steal Breath (a very big debuff and nice DoT, good for adding chance to hit and damage)

If i was doing 20-29 again, I wouldn't do it any differently, was very happy with these choices.

Am sure some will disagree.

I never bothered with Flashfreeze as it has a long cast retimer and does decent damage. It doesn't improve the stun as far as I know.

If you want my vote, I'd get dark distortion, flashfreeze and suffocating breath. I would even consider scratching suffocating breath adept3 and use that rare to get a rare for frozen manacles. If I had an adept3 frozen manacles, I'd make due with adept1 suffocating breath. After it's all said and done, I was never really impressed with suffocating breath. It never really stifled and the damage was fair. When you get it, sure it's a nice additional nuke, but it really isn't all that great. I still use ice spike instead of it for that last sliver of life finishing blow.

Flash freeze is a superb spell, with the patch fixing warlock and wizrd spells a while ago it got a massive boost. It now does very respectable damage and has a 1 second cast. Luckily i bought it at adept 1 when it was useless for a steal at about 60sp. It really is a life saver, don't leave home without it. SMILEY

On other point DD is a good spell to get at adpet 3 but if you choose BSS as the 30th training its unlikely that you'll use it past 30th. However thats 7 levels of nukie goodness. BSS is imho by far the best choice for 30th training.

For 20-29:

1) Dark Distortion (if you choose bss as lvl30 training, will be used until about 33; if not, will be used to 50)

2) Steal Breath (first thing to cast on all mobs, will be used up to 41)

3) Flashfreeze (1sec cast, does great dmg, solo or group, it's great dps and will be used until late 40s)

4) Negative Absolution (only decent AE line we get, and they aren't on same timers, will be used until mid 40s)

Solo/group/raiding...this is what I'd suggest for tier3 in order of importance.

Would definately encourage negative absolution over suffocating breath. The latter is just a weak spell, no real benefit over ice spike. All the fun you'll have with neg absolution in groups will be worth it, and that spell timer isn't upgraded until much later I believe.
