I am trying to get some gear made but not sure what is the best. A tailor in our guild says that none of the robes have INT on them. As a matter of fact only 2 peices have INT. Is that the norm for Wizzie clothes?

It depends on what lvl u are...

T7 crafted armor has +23 int on it all.. But some of the lower tiers has some really sucky crafted armor for mages! U can get better armor from drops and quests.

Get a combination of +int, +sta, +power, +hp, +resist.  This is my opinion tho.:smileyindifferent:

I prioritize it in almost a simmilar order

int > power > wis > sta > hp> resists.

of course if I see an item on broker with over 600 resists in one slot that I do not have I buy for secondary gear when I solo named casters.  but for groupage resists really doesn't matter to a good mage imho.

With the new gear out i would go with

Int>effects>power>resists

Or even if the effect is good enough go with the effect... things like bone clasped girdle.. fizzlefazlles walking stick... mystical orb or the invoker.. they all add alot of damage

well to be honest the kos gear with effects pretty much have high int and power, the effect is a nice bonus.  some do not have resists though like the skywatchers robe.

haven't had orb of invoker proc yet but grizzlefazzles seems to proc quite often.  Some day in a time far from now i'll get the girdle, which has great stats for a belt item too.

I go for INT kit up to the point when I am nearing level cap (potions and food can easily deal with the rest), I then look equally to STA and WIS stuff (for the extra health and resists).

With KoS stuff as well, I am finding that the +1DIS, +1SUB etc are actually proving to be worth the investment.  Its a small improvement but it is an improvement.

I agree ^ with the above...

I've been searching for +disruption gear and have many pieces with it now.  I've found that my resist rate (my spells on mobs) have decreased substantially......

Since getting int doesnt seem to be a problem I go for special abilities (FT,Procs, etc) then INT, Power, Resists.  My deagro robe lets me crank up the DPS alot.

This is what I do as well. Also I have been now switching equipment on depending on the situation. I will switch wepaons and Robes out between solo and grouping, and of course have certain resist items for that certain situation. In groups I am not concerned with FT/Clarify as much as I am with Hate reducing, and solo of course we don't need to worry about gaining hate so I got back to the FT and Power items.
