BoF Adept 3, vs Ice Spear

I'm about to /respec, and need to decide if I'm going to pick Ice Spear this time arround (I did not last time). I have read the threads and understand that at my level (33), BoF may still be more pwoerfull, but that down the road once I grow into Ice Spear, it will be superior. This is of course complicated by the fact that I Adept 3'd my BoF as soon as I got it, and it has served me well since Level 23. But if I respec and take Ice Spear, I feel like I've wasted my noe Adept 3 buy. Decisions Decions...What I'm looking for, is *numbers*. Any folks arround my level, and beyond, could you perhaps post the stats for Ice Spear? I kinda want to know when the break even point is, and may hold off respecing until then. For those about to ask "But what *else* would I choose?" I have been *very* happy with Wrannstands Flaming Wind.Current Stats:BoF Adept II, @ Level 33, 447 - 670 damage.Thanks!

I'm a lvl 45 wizard and heres the numbes on my spells,

Adept III ball of fire: 447-670 damage.

Ice spear: 495-743 damage.

As you can see its not a super drastic differnce.

Flaming Wind is replaced by Icy Wind at L35 iirc, which is superior.

Westfend's Ice Spear has several advantages to Ball of Fire;

Caps at higher damage than BoF.

Caps at higher level than BoF (40 instead of 33) which lets it hit higher targets.

Free Adept 2.

Ball of Flames and Ice Spear are on separate timers. So is Ball of Fire but when you get BoFl (37) Ice Spear is superior to BoFi.

Does cold damage instead of heat.

Looks really nice with my amount of graphics.

Use the T3 rare to make yourself Icy Coil or Blazing Intimidation instead. I still use Coil at L42. It's on a separate timer from Piercing Icicles.
